I can’t believe that 11th and 12th graders playing a sport are concerned with the cheering that is going on at an opponents home field. I feel like throwing up when I think that I pay $20,000 in school taxes for that to happen to the student body. As a country we are soft which bears reason why we cannot compete in the global soccer market.

That is really upsetting! I would love to see the student body at every school filling the stands. I would love to hear them banging drums and chanting songs and having fun. Can you imagine a college basketball game where the school has to ask the students to stop cheering too loud. Soft parents, soft coach and a soft generation of kids overall. Let the kids cheer on their school team[/quote]

Sadly most school districts seem to focused on having everything a perfect environment for even the visiting team. Once the emotion is taken out of sports it becomes a boring event. Playing for HS used to be about school spirit, now its treated as a ceromomy. People wonder why school spirit is at an all time low. Golf clapping only,
