09 Big Turnout last night at EM Yeah, 99% were current EM players that are mandated to try-out. Less than half were current players, if going by those wearing EM training gear as opposed to those who weren’t. A few Slammers, a few SURF/EC were there. Can't go by that. Most EM coaches tell their teams NOT to wear their training jerseys. Some will wear them anyway.

Hearing that since RM has allowed Gary Sullivan and Chris Ortiz to coach the ‘09’s the last 4 games or so, the ‘09’s have responded well and done a collective FU to RM. Have played much better without RM and his constant negativity and way over-the-top comments during games. Hopefully he hasn’t been around during the tryouts and allows Gary to pick his team…but I doubt it. Can anyone confirm with RM is there steering the ship?

The EMSC president's daughter needs RM's blessing so she can play on the ECNL team. He is not going anywhere.

Um, maybe doing a little better w GS, but not w CO. That's funny.

Um, maybe doing a little better w GS, but not w CO. That's funny. Hahahahah...on one hand you have a washed up former mini MLS player with no coaching credentials. On the other hand you have another washed up college baseball player coaching soccer. Hahahaha....looking at the run rate, I'd say even though the East Meadow ECNL and ECRL teams cannot win games or score goals, I'm sure they'll be able to hit te ball over the fence for a home run and be able to jump and roll through hoops like in PE class!! Hahahahahah...OMFG....Hahahahaha...good olde EMSC giving LI soccer way too much to laugh at. Honestly though, I am looking forward to your upcoming season. If last year was any indication of anything, I'd say we will be in for some more entertainment on this board. So let's get cracking Chris and Gary, get all them newbies in gear..they've got a brand new ECNL badge to show off...at least until the first 3 games when its a 3 ball strike out....I almost choked.....hahahahahah.

LISC has really brushed up their game this year. They had almost half of EM at open sessions and tryouts as well. EMSC is off to start the season in the gutter as usual. So much for chasing the great ECNL badge...GA seems to be where the party is at.

EMSC is smarter than that. They already sent out 2 sets of invitations before the 09 tryouts. Outside players then top existing players.

I'm hearing both teams got girls jetting for other clubs. Supposedly Surf Academy was full of talent and the good ones walked away from Jon with their middle fingers in the air. The lesser talented girls might have gotten moved up to the 64 MO team and the rest moving on. Jon told so many lies this past year,

That’s good news for the surf pre academy team because now they can move up a level.

Jon told so many lies this past year, No way.....the talented ones weren't even placed on that E64 team.....no way the less talented ones were...unless they are a FAF. I heard they did not even stick around for the end of the season and went somewhere else. Jerome likes big kick, tall and fast girls so I would not doubt that were the characteristics he looked for before moving kids up. I know 1 of the girls that left was small in size but was an absolute firecracker on the ball. None of those bigger girls had control like she did. Ironic they would pick faster, bigger over ball skills and control. That is why all the talent will leave, and in a year or 2, the Surf FAF team will have a team of muscle getting out played by the same little girls that left. Watch Jerome try to protect his FAF girls then! I actually feel sorry for him and those FAF kids. He doesn't have the le palle to replace the less skilled girls without having to face up to a 14YO fit because as we say it in the old country- he is too busy-succhiari il suo cazzo to know better.

LOLOL. It's interesting that he likes the bigger kick tall and fast girls when maybe only 2 or 3 of his own FAF meet that criteria. There were actually more of those on the B team and even one or two on the C..but if you're not in the WFAF (Wantagh Family & Friends) circle, you wouldn't get that opportunity.

He should stick to u-little because he’s about to get rebranded. Actually I like Jerome’s Surf FAF team a lot.
