Have you seen the Surf 08 “ B” Team? Not saying EDP club v club is anything special but they would have a hard time in that division. They are where they belong.

The 08 A team is nothing special either. 0-2 in E64 2 GF & 8 GA. LI, especially Nassau County, has to much competition for not enough good players.

Both teams aren’t very good. I brought my daughter over for a new start. We have a bunch of returning girls that obviously don’t belong but get almost equal time because they were there last year. Realizing I made a mistake.

Yes, I have seen the B team and I saw them lose a game 7-0, which could have been 15-0 as some shots either hit posts or were overhit over the crossbar. From what I understand, they were missing a couple of players but that supposedly would not have changed the score too much.

I also agree that they would probably have been murdered in club v club, but, if you were promised a league by the club, they should honor it regardless of what happens. This is classic bait and switch. It is not like they did not get into the league.

To the one parent who says they are at the club, are you on the A or B team? And, if you are on the B team, were you told that you would be playing NY Club/EDP division as opposed to NL club v club? And, if you were told, did they offer you a discount or rebate on fees given the drop down in leagues?

What club did you need a fresh start from ?

They went to Disney, Jefferson Cup and heading to San Diego for another money grab. Can’t beat teams from Nassau County.

Jeff Cup, SUSA top bracket, EM 3rd bracket, SUSA RL 6th bracket, Surf 8th bracket. Did not see LISC GA

The problem is that the lower the bracket you're in, the fewer coaches are around. If you're not very good on LI, save the trip and go somewhere you're more likely to be noticed.

Surf got 250 coaches at Jeff cup, how many did EM have?

Did you count them yourself, or do you have other documentation?

All that coaching how did they do?

Who was coaching the 2008 Surf girls watching them give a 14 goals in the first two games? Got goalie training?

I feel bad for their Goalies. Make sure you got your plane tickets and hotel booked for San Diego. I'm sure the club is getting a nice kick back from Travel agent running this for them.

The starting goalie is hurt, but that guy Feinstein gets what he deserves who coaches the 2008 A team ??

Whoever is running this E64 is getting rich quick! What happened to just the top teams making national playoffs? They cannot beat local competition, but they are going to California. MONEY GRAB

All the teams have to go out west ??

E64 is nothing more than a glorified exhibition event. No path to qualify for nationals. They don't even care if players are already carded with other USYS National League teams. Total boondoggle.
