LISC and Coach Frey had slide show and pictures of the complex they are building behind the Rough Rider bubble, it was presented to parents many times over for the last few years

As far as a clubhouse, why would anyone build any structure on land they don’t own or control.

This claim of yours is the first I hear about this….

Was supposed to be BEHIND the building hey currently own at Mitchel. the Global indoor facility. on the land where the Cosmos used to train. Was to build a small soccer stadium for use by LISC and by the Rough Riders men's and woman's teams

Maybe Mitchel wont allow it. Mitchel has the final say. Global/LISC/LIRR are renters and not owners of Mitchel.

Now others have supported my claim. Believe me yet? LOL. It was in her "come to my amazing club" presentation. A power point deck via zoom.

Ok, so something was said and it didn’t happen. Now, do you know or are you just trying to denigrate the LISC program?

I’m doing this a long time, and I can read what is it written, by the way folks like you answer questions.

So they don’t have a Futsal facility. Big [****] deal your players, especially your girls are better off not playing Futsal, then playing Futsal which causes problems for your ACL especially in girls.

Now, go on some medical website or go to some podiatrist and check out my comment, which is more important than the note Futsal facility that for whatever reason wasn’t built.

Larry, If they don’t have a futbol facility how are they suppose to upsell themselves and steal parents money?

The answer I would say, is that LISC, unlike others that people claim are stealing their parents money, don’t do business like that. That’s a good thing to note, don’t you think?

Please cite the data where futsal is worse for ACL than soccer. No such evidence exists. Females are more susceptible to ACL injury overall, not futsal specific. Misinformation is bad.

It was an article that a doctor on Long Island sent me a few years back. It is on the message board. I’ll try and do a search and see if I can find it and you should do a search for it also.

I remember who the doctor is and I’m going to send him an email and see if he can resend me that article. The one thing I remember clearly was that the articles cited that an ACL tear and Futsal was more prevalent amongst the girls and the boys.

Since I have zero experience with Futsal, other than it was not some thing I saw for my daughter when she was playing or did her coach or the team for that matter of fact so it’s nothing I’ve paid any attention to.

Thanks, I'll look more, but this info can be found on the US Soccer website : https://www.usyouthsoccer.org/news/acl_injury_and_the_female_soccer_player/
Says clearly girls are more susceptible to ACL tears than boys. No controversy there, but is futsal worse than soccer? I am skeptical.

LISC raised the prices this year to $3800 that’s not stealing money ? To play on the second team in NYCSL ? Teams playing in the Jeff Cupp 3 spots from the bottom and paying $3800 they are just as bad as the rest without their own facility maybe not as sneaky as the rest but still taking a lot of money to play in low brackets

LISC sees EastCoast charges the same or more and most of their teams are even in lower divisions, so why not?

This can't be right. SUSA ECNL is cheaper.

SUSA ECNL is cheaper are you out of your mind? EC is $2,200 yr, $2700 really because there is $500 for Futsal winter. SUSA is $5,000 plus for the year. I do not know what EM charges.

The most overrated club in Long Island…
And shouldn’t be associated with ODP…
No club or in NY should be associated with ODP.
ODP coaches should be ODP coaches only.

Then there would be zero ODP coaches. How much do you think they make doing ODP?

So LI parents bitch and moan that we don't have nice facilities, space for Winter, etc. Then they complain when a club wants to develop something. You guys are classic.

Guess what? You don't have to play there. Plenty of other places to go. BTW, guess you haven't noticed the massive inflation in this country. Everything is going up.

What product are they making at Susa that is causing the price of training to raise? Inflation has nothing to do with charging more to parents for the kids to kick a ball around.

Exactly. These clubs are charging $100-$120 an hour and paying their trainers $40-85 an hour. I’m sorry, inflation is not hurting their pockets. It hurts those who are making minimum wage and are trying to feed their kids, put them through a good school system and hopefully afford a good soccer program.

Nothing to do with inflation genius, it’s called not having enough teams to run your club so you charge more. Not a SUSA parent but LISC never plays in the same tournaments vs Susa or Em with their GA teams why is that ?? Susa might be a money hungry club but they have the best players on LI on the girls side. Meanwhile clubs like Lake Grove, RVC, Auberndale, Massapequa, are charging half the prices of the so called big clubs and producing good teams

How many more teams per. age group does SUSA need lmao? Some age groups are 5 teams deep! Parents are paying ECNL prices for their kids to play in a division 10. It’s called being greedy. They’re going to continue to pump numbers to try and sell it.

Besides Auburndale at the younger ages all the other clubs you named are not competitive clubs. Massapequa hasn't been competitive since LISC started and took all their players.

Massapequa 2009 is up there on Gotsport and the 2011s are top 20 in NYE region. I wouldnt call that not competitive especially since they pay half the price and can't compete on a regular basis against certain teams.
