The Awards was in Feb and you’re still upset. Maybe you should have ordered the Chicken Parm at Mamas next time. No one cares about High School soccer. We’re playing ECNL now

Maybe because being a club with awful training' the ATM machine doesn't sit well with people. I hear nothing but complaints about their treatment from parents leaving the "great" SUSA! Please!! Sing another song, will ya!

This is the boys forum. Everyone beats SUSA on the boys side. But I agree the facilities are great. I think that lacrosse will be coming soon.

Referees were sent an email about an incident with Boca vs HOTA. It included a letter of apology from BOCA club president. Didn't include particulars.

Do you have the letter or is this BS? Who is the Boca president?

"First of all, I would like to apologize to all the EDP staff and the crew members from the other day, for what happened on that game against NY Hota.

We are aware of what happened last year with our Academy team, and we took several decisions with those families and banning them from the BARCA Academy Pro NY.

During these months we put a lot of effort and time, teaching the families/staff to avoid any of these situations. Our first priority, has been always, to offer the best environment for a youth athletes where they can develop and learn this sport.

For that reason, I wanted to let all know, that we already took a corrective action from those parents for not allowing their entrance to any game from the team for the rest of the Spring season (Team B2007 Pro).

Again, our staff and families are being so proactive regarding this matter and committed, because we are trying to avoid any of these situations ever again.

Please, let me know if you have any further questions to us or concerns.
Apologize again.
Thank you.
Xavier Baladas Marcos"

seems the corrective action taken last year did not work out very well, did it? Apologies are really a cop out. How about instead of banning the parents you simply shut the team down before someone gets hurt or arrested.

To be honest the Barca parents are crazy and the leagues are the ones that should step in finally.
cops called to a 06 game last year due to threats against the ref's !

Is there any team that you people like? Parents at this level are insane, it doesn’t matter what team it is. Haven’t you been to a pro sports competition? If you have spectators who are passionate for some reason these things happen. In my opinion all parents should be banned from games. Same thing happens in other sports, high school games, and amongst the players. Plenty of coaches lose it during the game and parents keep their kids on the teams because they win. It’s a problem but it’s not new. The coaches can only do so much and these incidents can get ugly very quickly. Blame has to be distributed to all involved not just the club.
