No, kozy team can't win anything out of state unlike EC

Curious to know if kozy knew some of his players were Guest playing with Barca at the tournament in Maryland last month. Barca loves poaching players

Maybe Kozy isn't doing a good enough job to keep his players. Please remind us of the great teams Kozy has coached. Having 1-2 good U8-12 year old teams that break up isn't a great track record.

The more serious players, approaching 13yrs old,will look to ECNL teams. All other leagues are nonsense, these are facts. Barca, Valencia, East Coast know this and have tried to deflect how good ECNL is but would jump at the chance to be included.

I hope when you’re referring boys to an EC NL program you’re not recommending either of the boys EC NL clubs on Long Island are you? The boys EC NL clubs on Long Island do not appear to be doing very well and never have.

ECNL at this age is garbage lol. Driving to different states to win 7-0, 9-0 should be proof of that level of competition. And then where do u go from there? True soccer people know the truth, stupid SUSA parents have no clue but keep forking over that cash

The opposite is true at this age. ECNL players consistently leave susa and EM every year because they quickly realize what a crock it is and don't play the best teams

Long Island teams need 2 or 3 players to take them to next level.

Have looked you at the scores from EDP league or their tournaments. Talk about lopsided scores.

SUSA 2010 ECNL 5th place out of 9 teams, spending all that $$ and taking weekend trips with some "interesting" parents. Hard PASS.

Just to be clear all leagues except MLS Next are weak. Every year you will get 3-4 quality non MLS Next teams in the whole region.

SUSA seems to figure out how to ruin players and teams. They are always strong U8-12 and decline after that.
Kozy does a good job of recruiting crazy parents with talented kids, once the kids are old enough to make some decisions on their own they quit soccer or leave the team. He is actually the opposite of developing players.
EC has done nothing yet, so claiming to be great is weird. Being a top U-little means nothing. The test will be can they develop and keep having success as the teams age up and go through HS.
EM is just bad, until they clean house and try something different they will continue to be bad.

Lol a very special breed of parents. Susa teams are the only teams you will see that get down in a 3 point football stance and then run in on a corner kick. It's quite comical and very gimmicky.

But the ECRL B team went 9-0 so that must mean something

Must be a special group to travel up to New England to clean up like that. I am sure that whole team is being told they will eventually be on the top team as long as the check clears.

Indoor leagues started and a team from a "powerhouse" club got smacked up by RVC. How does this happen? Aren't small town teams perennial underdogs? As if the fall season was a disaster, the winter season looks to be more of the same.

EC B team also lost to a lower opponent. Caught the last 10 minutes. Wow, simply wow.

I don't see any EC B team enrolled in a Long Island winter league, neither is their A team. Maybe they're participating overseas?

EC B team is in a SUSA indoor league played at the Hofstra Bubble. Some pretty good teams in the bracket (Barca top team, SUSA ECNL, Hota top team, Valencia, Albertson, Auburndale)

oh please!! They lost to Albertson, since when is that club any good? Some of those teams are competitive but leave it at that. Not top teams. You'll see, B team will be lucky to get a draw.

Alby are pretty aweful to be honest, they are a 3rd division team at best. Goes to show where EC b team is heading. BTW, they've already had departures from the fall and trying to fill in with anyone.

What is the difference between ECNL and ECRL ?

ECRL is one level below ECNL in that league format.

Anyone that buys into boys ECNL is pretty pathetic. Look at the track record of LI boys ECNL.

EM are terrible and SUSA is below average.

Crazy that SUSA has so many teams in each age group and can't produce good HS aged boys teams. It's actually not surprising the coaching is awful and they don't even care.
