Welcome to the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 season where we will all be waiting to see what changes and surprises will greet us with the upcoming ENYYSA Premier Invitational Spring League. Yes, this could be a top five youth soccer season and you can follow it all only on the Back of THE NET

A club has a top team with several weaker teams in the same age group. The "weaker" teams have some very good players but have been told they are not eligible to try out for the top team even though roster spots have increased since we are going 11 v 11. The team will only take on players outside of the club!!! Anyone care to guess which club/organization this is? What would a parent do in this situation?

This is a 2013 thread. They play 7 v 7.

Based on your post, I would side with the "mystery" club because it appears that you have failed reading comprehension and probably are misconstruing the conversation.

Gonna assume it's SUSA. Actually, I know it's SUSA. Are you upset your son didn't get the call?

Seems the original post is in the wrong thread but I've been watching this thread we just saw this with a kid on our.team, not our son.
We saw it at Susa this past June, a player was told he was going to move up yet when the time came only players from outside Susa were placed on upper teams. Don't know how the player on our team decided to stick it out for another year after getting the bait and switch but apparently the parents didn't take their son to other tryouts. All eggs in one basket.
Oh well, Susa I'm sure is happy. More money for them.
