Thats not the coaches faults, thats the leagues faults.
We have 5 leagues with a few good teams per league. If they just put the best teams in 1 league, these scores will not happen. Fix it , ENYYSA

Fix it , ENYYSA Sadly, ENYYSA can not fix it because they do not have the rules & regs on their side. In ENYYSA it is the leagues which have the clout....not the state association.

The allowed LIJSL to refuse anyone non profit from registering in LIJSL and that was the beginning of NYCSL. If they had a single league then there wouldnt of been a perfect vacuum for all the nonsense that followed.

You are incorrect on the point that it was ENYYSA that disallowed the 'for profits' to LIJSL. I can tell you with 100% certainty that Barry Salter, then ENYYSA president did tell the former clueless LIJSL president, Addie Mattei to allow NYCSL into the LIJSL and it was Addie, and that other soccer schmuck and loser, ken Gulmi who told Grossman they would bury him....100% of the blame goes directly to those 2 leagues and their totally self-aggrandizement. Ken had his soccer business that he channeled teams to and Addie cleaned up on travel and the booking of the convention plus other streams of income into her travel business. Sadly, ENYYSA was not in the conversation as it is the leagues that have standing and not the state association.

How come ENYYSA can start a state cup but not a league? Why don’t you call each of those organizations and ask them directly or just read their bylaws, rules and regulations and maybe then you’ll get a better understanding of the organized soccer landscape. Your other option would be to read what I wrote since I’ve spoken to both these organizations and I’ve read there by laws and rules and regulations. Eastern New York youth soccer Association is a state association. Leagues belong to the state association. The state association does not get into competition with its leagues. This new, propose league that we were discussing, if you read the original post, you would see that it’s not eastern New York that created this league on its own, but rather it’s following a directive from the national sanctioning body USYSA.

No need to be rude.
The USYS National body can start a league, ENYYSA can have a State Cup, but ENYYSA can not have a league? That makes no sense. Since you knew so much about LIJSL, I figured id ask you. But there seems to be no real answer or knowledge , just what you hear second hand.

At the time ENYYSA had a successful league, the Eastern NY Premier League, that was growing. It served as the qualifying league for the Region 1 leagues (R1 Premier, NERP, Colonial, etc.) With Barry gone, those two then did away with the Eastern NY Premier League. Now 10+ years later, ENYYSA is trying to create a new qualifying league that hopefully will provide a single league for the best teams in ENYYSA (below the USYSA National Conferences).

However, if you look at the ENYYSA Board along with the Boards for LIJSL/CJSL/EHYSL there is a lot of names in common. If those leagues do not want an ENYYSA league, there will not be an ENYYSA league.

Why would you state something that you obviously don't know about? LISC is a top 4 or 5 team in this age group.
