It's funny when to conspire to take a group of kids away from a team because the training sucks and your kid is the only one to not make the new team. I heard this happened recently in this age group and the parent then bad mouthed all the girls that did make it. Has anyone ever ran out of clubs for their kid to play? Asking for a friend.

Maybe we get lucky…. find one quality coach that connects with our child and challenges her to be her best self. All this money spent most likely won’t produce a D1 soccer player. Rather, hard work, determination and discipline will pave a path for success.

Learning to be a team player would be nice as well.

So the LISC Orange kids went to SUSA Carolina. Seems like a lateral move to me.

True! There is a D3 team somewhere for any kid still playing competitive soccer into their senior year of HS.

Do these kids live in Nassau or Suffolk? Why travel either way to play on a third team?

Susa ecrl and the rest of blue and orange went to other clubs or picked lacrosse

SUSA lost 4 ECNL Players. Not cut, they left. Chose to no longer deal with JR and his constant screaming and berating. Plus his loser track record. And it will only get worse. More players will leave. JR is an embarrassment.

Going to SUSA from Nassau while also playing a high school soccer practice/training schedule sounds brutal.

Definitely not true. D3 is getting more and more competitive. Many rosters have several ECNL players on them.

OK, This is getting a little out of hand. As an LISC parent here's what I know

Four girls left the Blue team, two to play lacrosse, one to got to the GA and one went to SUSA ECRL. Two girls from the Orange team were moved to Blue. We're waiting to hear if anyone else from the outside will be joining the team.

The remaining girls from of the Orange team have left the club. A bunch went to Surf, a few to Massapequa, one to RVC and the rest are focusing on school soccer and other sports. I don't think that LISC will have a third team in the age group next year.

Keep going to SUSA that's the answer LOLOLOL .
They fleece almost 8 million dollars a year from ATM parents just like you and are always looking for more.
Talent is watered down and they only have a few truly qualified trainers.
You malcontents are running out of clubs!
And just some friendly advice to you loons... most of your kids won't play in college and those that do will recieve little if any scholarship. Just Relax and enjoy the ride

They have B, C, D, E teams in most age groups. Thats not watered down? All those players pay the same VIG. Plus do your homework, they develop very few. They acquire players and teams. LI Parents are NUTS

They don't have d e teams at this age group you talk about developing players are you and expert at this you must be being that you use that word all the time maybe you can start your own club and start developing players

Let’s be factual here, 1 LISC GA player made the SUSA ECNL team (barely). The other 2 made the ECRL team. Then another SUSA ECNL player dropped and a spot opened, so 1 of of the 2 RL was offered it. Word is they plan on playing the full game, as we’re not happy at LISC not getting full game playing time. They are in for a very rude awakening. Almost wanted to be there to watch it. Not.

Best GU14 team on Long Island WOW!!! I'm sure that's going to a be a glory days chat in the future.

Susa's is very good, but big fish in small ponds and all of that.

They are so good they didn't qualify for anything...

The person is right to a certain extent. It is harder to develop players than just assimilate the best after much of the developing has already been done.
