Don’t they need to have competitive teams in every age group to get into this league? Or does EDP take anyone that pays?

Their boys teams aren't doing so well. Look across the age groups for yourselves.

I guess if GotSoccer points says it's true then they must be the best. But to be the best they must beat the best, and they can't beat NYCFC. In fact Boca Juniors was even knocked out of this year's NY cup by Just Play, a team that had 1 win in league play this season. Getting beat by every team in the division including Stony brook LGN. I would fully expect a #1 team in the country to have blown through that NY cup, but instead just barely beating Susa. Especially since NYCFC dropped out. Can we now conclude that Gotsoccer points mean nothing?

90% of the teams in the country, no matter how good, do not have a chance at being highly ranked in gotsoccer simply because there aren't enough point accruing cups and leagues in their geographical area. You need to be very good to be at or near the top, but not necessarily the best, just the busiest in seeking out points events.

With all you people shelling out all this cash for the newest youth soccer alphabet league, we may avoid a recession after all.

Another watered down league that gives tier 2 for profit soccer programs a place to play with a fancy name "Academy Division" parents eat that up and East Coast will just keep cashing those checks!!

This is equivalent to the old NYCSL. Money grab all around
