This could be where the new RL team ends up.

Seems like a smart move. Two academies coming together should hopefully benefit the players and overall coaching programs.

Will the #1 team in the country, Boca, absorb some SESA players??? What is the new name? Did they double registration fees?

1. BOCA is NOT absorbing SESA players
2. The new name is East Coast FC
3. Registration fees are not changed

Shouldn’t sesa players have the option to be absorbed lol, esp to Boca being a top team and all

I'm sure at the end of the season there will be a tryout and there will be an A team and a B team. I'm sure the long term plan is to have the best team possible.

My understanding is that agreement is expiring at the end of the spring season.

In the 2010 boys age group, Sesa has 2 teams and East Coast has 4 teams. There will be 6 teams minimum. A place for every ability. Right fit.

I was told they will have a big tryout for all age groups and form the A, B, C and so on teams for all age groups in May/June.

I believe that was just the 2009 A team. They are no longer with MO.

East Meadow will never let that happen. This is in their back yard and a real threat to their position as Susa's B team.

I dont think EM will have a say. Rauri is not doing well and ECNL sees it. I think EMSC should be more concerned with the player attraction that this merger will offer right in their back yard. EC/SESA has way more players than EMSC with excellent training, and I believe is more cost effective.

EC/SESA upcoming tryouts should be a magnet for the EMSC players as well as neighboring communities Wantagh, Bellmore, and even Garden City. They appear to be poised to easily be the dominant Nassau youth soccer organization. They just need to remain humble and deal straight and not turn into a SUSA clone of character coaches/trainers, and not view their players/parents as ATM machines and they will do very well.

Larry you don't know what you are talking about as usual, Rouri sits on the board of Boys ECNL which includes ECRNL. Yes he will not allow for them to get boys ecrnl.

Actually, I do what I am talking about, and yes, I do know that Rauri is thought of by many as a big deal, but where it counts. People get voted on and off boards everyday. Rauri's ass is not Gorilla glued to his board seat. Like it or not, the ECNL voted today on the ECRL league expansion and you can be sure if is a go there will be another club added from Long Island.

I would also point out that Rauri will have to figure out how to keep players from jumping his losing ship and heading elsewhere like EC/SESA as they already been doing. The EMSC player pool is already anemic except for the very young and intramurals, and that may also change.

Thank you for joining us for another episode of "As The Soccer Ball Turns".

Again, we have someone speaking out of their ass. While I with the two principals today they had received and responded to 3 EMSC texts asking about tryouts, along with other texts and calls whose origins was not disclosed to me. If you think that the EMSC players won't be taking a hard look at this new merger then you are either lying to us and yourself, hopeful, or clueless. This appears to have traction. Deal with it. Like it or not the EMSC ain't the club it once was or the club that attracted ECNL via Jeff Gross. EMSC was the buzz in youth soccer when Stan Ruppenthal was at the head of the table. Mike Cartier is no Stan Ruppenthal.

Find a the meat fun of them I may commented on them and I’m commenting on them right now. The only thing that gets me high is a really will roll joint. Soccer does not get me high and neither do any of the academies. What I’m doing here is reporting the news that’s what I do. This merger is news. Like it, don’t like it, I really don’t give a [****] but I will continue to report it off of my opinion wherever and whenever I want.

If I really was so high on EC right now I also would’ve shared with you there club in Florida, they’re playing tournaments, a major college showcase coming up within the next 12 months with non-local college coaches, and some of the other growth plans that was shared with me today. Now, I didn’t tell you any of that because I would not want you to think that I was high.
