What’s with so many teams moving to EDP? Some of the 2009 divisions look like carbon copies of the divisions from NYCSL.

Why will it be different in the spring? Will teams be moved up to different levels?

You need to do some reading. Start here.

EM topped their bracket despite losing players. All is not lost over there. susa where every parent is an ATM also topped their bracket as expected. No other team showed up to really impress with talent. Didn’t see the final between EM and susa where every parent is an ATM, so can’t comment there.

EM barely squeaked through and then got dismantled in final

Yes EM topped their bracket, because they set it up that way. They would have lost to every team in the other top bracket. They obviously lost to susa where every parent is an ATM in the final, I don't think they could beat the susa where every parent is an ATM ECRL team.

What made you come to that conclusion, they won their bracket fair and square. Dismantled you say?

Fake news. EM is still a strong team.

You take a team who’s been together for 3 years vs a new team all together. Dismantled far from. Let’s see what it’s like the next time they meet.

I saw the EM team compete in their bracket and gotta say the play is boring, no cohesion with the girls and eventless, no skills brand of soccer. There was no one that stood out, no flair to any of their plays and it seemed like a mundane run of the mill team with little spark. We won’t be seeing any talent from the pool in this age group at EM anytime soon.

At least EM plays SUSA in tournaments. LISC is too busy hiding their overpriced product of a team.

LISC is overpriced? Let me guess, Susa is the bargain of the week?

Onto this weekend’s FCStars tournament. Any predictions? Looking at the brackets seems the horses are being separated from the sheep. I see a day 2 match up with EMSC and PDA that’ll be interesting. Anybody willing to risk a prediction for this tourney?

Why does EMSC show zero ECNL games played? Do they have a team?

They def have a skeleton of a team. EMSC 09 been at a few tournaments so far, played them in MA a few weeks ago. Boring kick and run as someone stated above.

That team is seriously lacking talent. Cannot say that I've seen any player that are skilled with the ball their feet.

I'd expect at ECNL competitive level to see girls comfortable at throwing step overs, mathews, elastico, okocha, cruyff-all the skill moves that I've seen in teams we've played at ECNL. Maybe their next ID session they will find girls with these skills before parents pull them out of the sport, get consumed with middle school soccer or go play LAX.

It as if all they teach over there are cuts and kick up the field for the fast girls to chase. The ECNL standings does have them played any games, they must be buying time to build a team as most of the girls from last year left. Interesting season for them if they can manage to prevent players from leaving mid-season, that I think was an issue last year.

We've played 2 games already and are 2-0. Lost some players as well but managed to attract a handful of girls that were playing lower level soccer, but off balanced our best with their skills during team tryouts. If this team can stay together, they will be hard to beat.

You need to see somebody right away. It's alarming how psychotic you sound. And I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I wrote something like that.

Here we go again with the EMSC crap. A nerve was struck and now the EM soldiers are coming. I can't with this forum, nothing sensible can be suggested without the insults. This was just an observation-take it for what it is worth, so best of luck with you and your 09 soccer wizard. SMH.

Take everything said here in moderation my friend. At the end of the season it all pans out and losers like the parent above always ends up in the shitter. Redeem yourself and look to see where EMSC stands at the end of fall or even better be merciless when/if you play them next. It all works out at the end.
