hey Anonymous... did you see any of the games? More possession than normal HS teams. Most kids play at high level with their outside teams and most have been together since they were 7 or 8... watch a game.

How was it a tie? It was a single elimination cup game. Will they have to replay the game because they both forgot it had to end with a winner?

That game did end in a tie, so it has to be replayed to produce a winner. And from what I heard, the Surf/Stony Brook coach pulled his typical, well known crap and moved the game to that small crappy field (even though there was a full size turf field unused available) at Stony Brook so his goalie could punt 3/4 of the field and hope one of the big kids could score. When they play the next game on a real field, the result will be Bulldogs move on to the next round and Surf/Stony Brook will go home whining.

As opposed to the Bulldogs "small crappy filed"? Lol. Do you even think about what you write? And you tied a crappy team. Stop making excuses. It's embarrassing for you. Save some dignity my friend.

The Bulldogs main field is a new turf field, so hardly a small crappy field. It's you who does not know what you are talking about.

SUSA should worry about SUSA as more players and coaches are leaving the club.

You are a pretentious snob who thinks because his kid plays at a place like SUSA, that you somehow are now important. Living through your kid is pathetic and you are unimportant to the soccer community. So the Bulldogs are part of a much smaller club you think they are not important? When kids and parents tire of the amount of money spent for not great training and average results, they will go to clubs like the Bulldogs belong to where the emphasis is on the kids and training, not on extracting more and more money from unsuspecting fools in exchange for mediocrity.

What does a field being "new" have to do with it being "small"? And to be clear, the Bulldog's field is a tiny "new" turf field. That was the initial point in case you missed it.

The field they play on is too small. It is like 9v9 size.

Susa tries to monopolize the soccer market by accumulating teams and clubs by sheer quantity of children. If you have thousands of kids you should get 18 solid ones to represent each age group. YOU can’t short cut training and developing. Susa training philosophy is to acquire children not develop them. It works for them but quantity over quality? Whoever is part of Susa is a number to them that’s it. Cash that check and when you leave they’ll fill your Jersey before you make it to the car.

You're ridiculous and a sorrowfully petty individual. It is a quality field and not at all so small that is worth commenting, especially from the likes of you.

Looks like Hicksville are going to win it all, they are in the finals! Most of the players are local town HASC players. A true underdog story being written!
