If this is true, it's deserving of its own thread...

It is true, however it does not need any further discussion. This was something that SUSA had to do due to the requirements of ECNL as SUSA will now be taking the lead role on the boys side. All coaches and trainers for SUSA Boys ECNL will remain in place. This all an administrative issue that does not affect anyone or the teams. I have looked into this and I am closing out on this and you should also as there is nothing here.

Probably posted by SB board member to try and distract from their mess.

This merger is going over like a lead balloon with the membership.

Outside looking in question:
What do lake grove families get out of this merger ?
Stony brook would benefit from the registration fees but i can't see an upside for lake grove ????
Is it Fields ? training ? higher level leagues ?

A very good question. If there is an upside for the club, other than Tim Graham increasing his income and having more boys to invite over to his apartment for his "pizza parties" it has to be something that is hidden deep in mystery.

According their club president who I did speak with, it isn't fields, it isn't training, and it certainly isn't higher level leagues, so your question is not answerable at this time, but usually it all comes down to money, which begs the question who on the Stony Brook side is profiting? We know Tim Graham will, but only if he has a player pool that plans to stay with both clubs.

It is very simple. Nash didn't put some board members kids on the team they wanted to be on. That was the beginning of the end for him. They made their minds up long ago they were going to get rid if him despite the tremendous job he did keeping the kids playing. This board embodies everything that is wrong with youth sports today.

By taking his role away they know he has no option but to quit.I feel sad for Mark, he’s always been a good representative for stony Brook and Long Island soccer.

Exactly and board members will say dumb things like "We didn't fire him, we wanted him to stay". Lying scum. If they wanted him to stay they wouldn't have demoted him.

Let's hope the current LGN President has a major role in this thing. She has been incredible for our club and would certainly help.

You mean the president whose club according to Guidestar has not filed taxes since 2018, the same president who allows trainers and Tim to collect money, and the same president that condone's Graham's underage player pizza parties at his apartment? That president? I hope so also. More scumbags in youth soccer is food for BOTN!!!

As a member and a taxpayer I will be the first to turn in a coach/trainer getting paid cash. People who think it is their right to cheat the system at the expense of everyone else are just selfish idiots. Ask me for cash coach. I dare you.
