Looks like this list is a little off. Met Oval and LISC are literally 2nd division teams and NYCFC lost their first two games. Remind me not to parlay anything with you.
EC Boca Juniors--you may want to reconsider "playing up". Go back to your proper age group.

This proves its too early to pick players for NYCFC. The ones they thought were good last year are falling behind this year.

... or that NYCFC has too many players playing up.
There's at least 4-5 players on this team that are 2010 born.
And a number of 2009's currently play up.

I’m sure the other clubs in the division have a few players playing up as well so that’s a moot point. What’s not cool is the eventual turnover at NYCFC. The majority of kids on that team will not be there in two-three years. You mention they have 09’s playing up, what does that say about the ones left on the 09 team? They will be the first replaced.

Congratulations to the teams that beat them. They didn’t let the hype distract them from displaying who the better team is on the field.

Sorry, I am not buying that. The NYCFC 09 team finished in 1st place this Fall. Now they are in last place in the Spring. The players are the same, so what happened?

It's two games in to the season 7 more to play, so a bit early they could be 7-2 and be on top. Every team is tough competition in this division, lots of good players.

We lost our best player to NYCFC in the fall he is playing up to 2007 and we root for him. Now had he been playing on age the move there would not have made sense. It's too early for Academy at U12. It will be musical chairs for all of these teams when kids make academies and for the ones that thought they should.

I’ll tell you what happen, the spring brackets are more competitive because teams are banded together based on their fall results. NYCFC are in a much tougher division now with much better teams top to bottom.

Make as many excuses as you would like... this is an ongoing thing with NYCFC, not only your sons team. Underperforming with the best players and soon will replace half of the team with new players.

Its a real issue when teams like NYCFC, who have the pick of whomever they want, cant put well performing teams on field. Not that they should win every game but they should be clearly playing excellent quality soccer and simply winning by talent alone rather than needing tactics. That they can ID talent so badly that they replace 50% year on year is really pretty damning evidence that even the "best" youth soccer organizations do not know anything about what theyre doing.

You don't think they are in this league, this age group just to recruit and see the kids that are out there?

It's pretty crappy system clubs develop kids then NYCFC comes in offers the scholarship and the kids are gone.
