No, because they have not been completed and made public yet. BOTN has the publication date and will make the ECNL link on the left column 'live' as soon as we get the word they are available

Does anyone know when the U15 and up EDP schedules (placements) get released?

And in NY, by County. Do you the Nassau based clubs are looking for a fall league?

In addition, If held, Spring HS soccer will create chaos for the clubs whose older age groups play club ball in the spring. Will the HS coaches give girls (especially juniors and seniors) also playing club ball any sort of exemption from practices/ games due to club commitments especially if they want/ need to be seen at showcases, etc.

If the science teachers masquerading as soccer coaches want to win they will.

If HS ball cared about college bound athletes at all they would not field this year or if they did, they would field a short schedule in spring and allow their club players full discretion to prioritize club ball over school commitment. HS ball on LI is about school spirit and bragging rights. It is NOT about college recruitment. Most clubs honor players’ desire for the school recognition school ball offers in normal situations and field in the opposite season during recruitment years. Players In these clubs lost an entire recruitment year last year - since fall went to school ball and spring went to COVID. Give these players a chance to be recruited - to train with professional trainers, work with committed team players and play show case tournaments Even if individual players opt out of school ball, if their entire club team doesn’t opt out, the individuals are stuck for tournaments with a patched together team of guests. Do what is right for the college bound kids. Give them a chance to make up the recruitment opportunities lost last year.

I concur. Those club players playing U17, U18, U18/19 supplemental. All these players who want to continue to play in college need to emphasize their club teams this fall and spring. They all missed out on the important Spring college showcases, college one day clinics, camps, Summer showcases. For those players entering their Junior year this is their time. For rising Juniors into Senior years those not committed have a short window. For those players they cannot risk playing high school sports because of the threat of injury. We are living in different times right now and I would like to believe that high school soccer and especially the coaches will work with these student/athletes so they can make the best of this situation.

But the Oceanside, Mephan, MacArthur, etc moms need to see their babies dominate players who have no aspirations of college soccer. Let them play against players who will challenge them to develop, because college coaches couldn't care less about HS soccer.

It will work that way for these girls regardless or whether school ball fields fall or spring. It actually would be better for school ball to field spring so that the current uncommitted seniors can use the fall for recruitment. Who wants to wait for spring for that?!?

Because these moms want their little suzie to give school speeches and be the captain of a team with players who play just for fun . Then they can tell that to a college coach who realizes HS soccer is horrible around these parts. Want to let them play? Lobby the NCAA to lift the dead period for recruiting if that's what your child ultimately wants, cause you're quickly running out of time for that.

There is no timeframe for colleges regarding recruitment either this fall, winter or spring. How can players get committed this fall with no showcase tournaments, no regional tournaments, no college clinics or camps because the majority of colleges have cancelled their fall seasons. The earliest that anything will return to a level of normalcy will be the spring of 2021. If there is high school soccer This spring the vast majority of club players will play will play club soccer and put there efforts in getting recruited by colleges. Either high schools will work around that schedule or they will be without club players. N my opinion most players can’t risk injury playing high school and will stay away.

It may look different in the Spring, but HS soccer will go on. Maybe more JV kids will be rostered to fill in for Varsity players with club or recruiting conflicts.

It's comical watching these moms pout about how they need to play for their emotional well being. Those moms are liars since their kids already play club. They want little Suzie to play so they can show how they dominate players who don't play club. So lets be honest here, all you dopey people who lead these protests, it has nothing to do with the kids well being. It has to do with your selfishness about wanting your kid to be the top dog to make up for where she isn't in the club world.

I'd look at it differently if it were the non c!in playing families organizing these kids, but lets call a spade a spade.

Prove me wrong.

I have a question to the wonderful audience.
• If a player goes out of state for more then 24 hours to a tournament or college camp does Section XI, make them get tested or quarantine to become eligible?
• If a player or coach knowingly allows a player to practice or play even though they should quarantine, would they be suspended for the season and any games be forfeited? & what would happen to the coach?
My daughter has turned down going to the Jeff Cup just to avoid any ramifications. Luckily, she is only a 10th grader and hopefully next year will be better for all that enjoy watching you child play in various out of state competitions. If this info is out there in the forum, I am sorry to ask a redundant question.

Get tested in VA on the last day you are there or as soon as you get home. The Tournament directors sent out info to teams to do this in Richmond. With a negative test, you only need quarantine 3 days. Jeff Cup is far more important and prestigious than HS ball. That being said, whatever your daughter thinks is the right thing to do, then it is the right thing to do.

I completely agree with what you said, my daughter or any other child wants to do they should do (play in the Jeff Cup or Play the Varsity season). Some of the girls my daughter pays with went to North Carolina just before the start of the practice season 3/1/21. If the child was tested on 3/1/21 when they came back to NY & then wait the three days and get tested again they would not have meet the 6 practice requirement for a 3/9/21 games. If this player plays what would the punishment be for the team and coach?
