They will probably do the draw (computer generated) soon or this evening and then post it to Got soccer...it's ENYYSA, and customer service has never been a priority.
The draw is today. ENYYSA didn't say when they will be posted grin

It does look that way. I think fields are an issue, and the virus concerns.

Club field availability and referee availability are issues. But the biggest issue is the availability and cost of the P-Lot fields at Stony Brook. The covid testing center there is taking up half the parking lot and the university asked for significantly more money to rent out the fields for the LI Cup finals this year.

A good and valid point.

That is for the LI cup finals. What about Peter Collins (LIJSL) Fields ?

I said finals.

In years past I always wondered why the LI Cup finals weren't held at Peter Collins, but right now the Peter Collins Fields are the temporary home fields for a number of clubs that don't currently have access to their normal fields.

State Cup brackets are out. Not group play this year. Single elimination. I get it (probably I assume because of the pandemic). Still a very expensive tournament for possible just one game for some teams. Or even 2. Wonder if the State has given and thought to adjusting the fees? Not sure where all the money goes.....

Wasn't the ENYYSA version always one and done?

So let me get this right....a dozen or so mediocre LI teams per age bracket is considered a "state" cup? Did they dangle a bridge for sale too?

No. The format was changed several years ago. Group play of 4 teams, 3 games guaranteed. Then winners advanced to elimination play. Still curious where all the money goes. There should be a rebate to 2021 participants.

The ENYYSA version of state cup has been one and done since my teams have been involved. The NYCSL state cup had group play in the fall. Perhaps that is what you are thinking of?
