U14 is definitely not u little but the point still stands. It’s important to not go overboard for wins or losses. SUSA is a very good team.

Looks like most teams Fall seasons are done, which is a bit of a miracle. Coming out of all these games SUSA is still the top team but they also lost to two local rivals EM and WC. In GA, NYSC looks like the best local option but STA also showed well. All in all, these clubs & leagues did a great job getting a full fall season of training and games in, so well done to them navigating a really crazy situation. Hopefully spring is even better.

Looks like NY Surf will be coming out on top of the EDP Premier I division - representing LI well! Couple other LI clubs not so much though- at least It looks like the girls will get all the games in.

Yikes! Alberston Fury EDP II last place with 0 wins 1 tie and 7 losses.

Now that the Albertson teams were absorbed into SUSA, the teams carrying that name are pretty far removed from what they were a year or two ago.

Not sure why people on these sites feel the need to call out specific players - regardless of the situation, calling out 13 or 16 year old kids where anyone can tell exactly who you are referencing is a complete douche bag move - all caps above needs to get a life. really pathetic....

Your husband talked about other kids attributes and physical appearances of other players for years. Much younger than 13 yrs of age I know of several parents feel the same about you. That is why I'm glad my daughters doesn't play on her team. Maybe you should take this as a learning lesson and stop talking about other kids. Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Calling out specific kids is pretty lame. The banter about best program, best league, best trainers is enough. Yes, some parents deserve to be called out but the kids do not, ever.

They post things like you talk about on BOTN because they lack the courage and spine to say it to your face. Keyboard warriors like CAPS above are just keyboard cowards.

Anyway, how do most people feel the fall season was handled? I think most clubs should be commended for having gotten through it, with relatively few problems. Ultimately my kid played a full fall schedule, although no tournaments due to travel restrictions and her team practiced 2-4 times per week. The winter will be tough with restrictions on indoor sports, I think. I'm hoping temps re relatively mild and they can do a decent amount of outdoors and that by spring time, enough people vax, or at least have the opportunity to do so, that travel restrictiosn can be lifted and we dont have to pray on friday that saturday games get played. Its easy to hate on the clubs, but the one my daughter plays for did pretty good and her friends clubs seem to have done similarly well.

Same- my daughters team got most of there games in except for two out of state games at the end of the fall season, but club scheduled friendly's to compensate. I think they got very lucky with everything going on to have gotten the opportunity to practice let alone play competitive games.

I know this forum tends to bash clubs rather than praise them, but kudos to all the programs for getting what they did get done accomplished and providing our kids with some sense of normalcy.

Good Job- the clubs on LI should be proud of what they were able to accomplish with all the hurdles presented before them.

SUSA will never be what they want to be, and is not for lack of attracting the better players. They have grown a lot, but their management keeps acting like a small club. They want to be a top Academy, but act like they are a recreational team. Their winter play is a joke, a bunch of 08 and 07 all mixed in playing each other every weekend. And that is not because of Covid, they always did that. No wonder they get to the spring and get beaten. Their futsal “program” is an every other week practice, which is a joke. Teams are just a split on numbers, intramural style. Same thing with games for regular season, giving equal or close to equal time to players that are definitely not equal, to please the paying customers on the bottom of their rosters. They will NEVER be PDA. PDA plays to win. This is supposed to be the top level. Act like it.
