Because it’s soccer not football or rugby. Someone could get hurt. Wonder if it was your daughter and this girl goes after her ankle? It’s hard to watch when it looks like a kid is intentionally going in to hurt another kid.

Whether you understand it now or not, if your daughter sticks with Soccer you will soon enough realize that soccer is a contact sport. If they are not using their arms and bodies while playing, they aren’t really playing.

Thank you for stating the obvious...soccer is a contact sport. Yes injuries and fouls happen but occasionally you come across players that appear to be intentionally trying to hurt others and that is NOT part of the game. It is the responsibility of the trainer to discourage that behavior and teach the children properly.

In the situation above with the young LGN player, the coach was described as doing exactly what you say they should do. Nice job coach. It’s a competitive sport and is a good reflection and lesson for our daughters of real life. Everyone is different, some work harder than others, some will make less of an impact to those around them, and there will always be some who test the limits. It’s like that at all levels of competition.

That’s the job of the ref. Are you saying the ref was also incompetent? You just want to blame everyone and come up with excuses for your kid’s inadequacies.

Looks like Lisc 2010 won the Top 2010 Susa tournament bracket. Why didn’t the SUSA G10 team play in that division?

It’s better than playing on age beating those teams by 5 goals or better

Paying to play all your own club in a tournament. Not sure how someone could be happy with that.
