Not fair to the kids to boycott, not their fault. Yes, it is fair to boycott. Kozy knew that there would be a kick-back to what he did. Kozy just didn't know how bad that kick-back would be. I wonder if San Diego Surf have contacted NY Surf yet to discuss this problem to their brand?

The hope is that by indicating an intent to boycott, Surf won't even take them. Kozy's teams still have a month to go back to Dix Hills and register with the leagues.

It is a bug that I will get fixed in an hour or so....thanks for bringing to my attention. keep voting and I will have it fixed so you can see the results in about an hour as I have to get into the code. I would think we need to see some evidence that NY Surf had prior knowledge and/or participated in the scheme before you basically punish the kids in that program. Do we know if they were an active and willing participant in the plan ?

Anonymous users will see a "VIEW RESULTS" link under the "SUBMIT VOTE" and that will show you the results. Thanks for seeing that bug.

Do you think that out of the blue Kozy walks into NY Surf with 19 teams and 242 new players and says SURPRISE you just won the Kozy Sweepstakes? Of course they knew.

Why did they follow him if hes a peice of trash? Two reasons. First, he got paid close to $2,000 per kid in a "non-refundable" payment. That's a lot of money to walk away from. Second, the parents are worried that they will be the only ones that don't go and there will be no team back in Dix Hills for their kids to play on.

I am closing tis post. The matter has been settled. Joint Statement coming from Surf & DHSC tomorrow. Thank you all. You did a good for the overall health of youth soccer on Long Island.
