Barca Arizona interested in several 06 pro boys.

They were interested in a couple of 06 players, but they left for NYCFC

Your going to relocate to Arizona to play soccer ? Stupid comment or thought. Get over it. Your son will never be a MLS professional soccer player making $60k / year. #JOKE

Why not? It is done in several sports. Why is soccer any different? The ignorance from people is amazing. Only their way is the right way.

Maybe under a P-3 Visa because they train Americans in the "Barca Way"

They, meaning Barca, have no fields lined up as of yet.

Larry contact your Barca connections and see if Delucia is still paying and Involved.

Are they really telling families York college is where home fields might be used ? Why don’t they just tell the truth?? These children have a right to know so they can leave this nightmare behind them

Fields are already scheduled and locked in for remainder of summer and fall. They may not do permits yet but they all need to stay organized. Already asked for emails and are setting up scheduling. The issuing of permits is the last step and will be done next week. If they are using that as an excuse they have no fields.

Barca has told parents that the fields definitely will be in Nassau county. They said they are in negotiation with a college. That said they have a coach who is the head coach at Adelphi which could help them lock up field use there. Hostra was also mentioned as a location. So start looking at your old magic 8 ball you have in the basement for the answers......

Actually, David Villa’s USL team, Queensboro FC, will be based out of York College. Not sure how much field time would be left for Barca.

No chance Gary Book HC at Adelphi and Director of LISC allows Barca to use their field! No way!

I'm calling BS on this. A friend whose sons play at Barca tells me they are working on field access for training and games but nothing is in place yet. Maybe because of all the fees they owed for fields? As far as organization, yeah they need to work on that because they are very disorganized, especially right with the Barca Pro teams.

Training starts next week for most teams. Fields are open next week. Where is Barca practicing? I was told by a non soccer source with no interest in either direction that Barca took their name back because all of the fees weren’t paid. They moved their coaches away and it is over. Like I said, this is not a soccer person so he may not know the whole deal. He just knows one of the investors that were involved in Barca Pro. Said it is over. Will they use Covid as an excuse to parents because they obviously have not said anything yet.

What’s over? All the teams? Are all teams dismantling? There are a lot of children without teams if that’s the case. Do the right thing and come clean to us parents

They moved about half the trainers to FL to open the new Miami academy. The boys side will still have Barca trainers while the girls side will have locals like Brook from Adelphi. They got out of the partnership because the partner was cash strapped and could not deliver anything they were suppose to ( fields to play on). So Barca took back the control. I would think it will take them a season or two to reorganize, but they are committed to the NY market. It is not about finding the next Messi, it is about expanding their Brand globally. In other words its like advertising.

Not arguing or posting anything negative- BUT only ONE Barcelona trainer went to Miami. You're also feeding misinformation about coaches. PRO teams will have Barcelona trainers. Red and Blue teams will have Local Barcelona interviewed and approved trainers.

Actually Gary Book has very little to say in this matter, Gary has not been long with Adelphi and has zero strips to make demand on who can and cant use the fields. However Brooke Derosa now works for Barca on the girls side and will develop the girls side and will get fields from adelphi. Nice try thoooooo bookie lover!!!

Most organized? How many times did they change practice locations or have last minute schedulings. How many times were their games canceled because they had no field permits after they scheduled. They were always the last club to schedule games and probably the most unorganized. That is half of the reason they are falling apart. No organization.
