The NYCSL announces that the Fall Season 2020 is suspended for league play.
As NY State opens up in phases, we will immediately take registrations to allow teams to start their practice in limited capacity, and allow teams to participate in tournaments as NY State allows, tentatively August 2020.
We are Only registering teams for Spring Season 2021.
The NYCSL is an official sanctioned League offering both youth travel and adult travel competitive league play under USSSA, a member of US Soccer.
Please remain safe during these difficult times.
We shall assist teams and clubs throughout NY State be prepared for each phase, and be well prepared for league play in the Spring of 2021.
Looking to expand our league to include the entire New York State, including Long Island, and fill the void other leagues left in Long Island.
Teams, clubs may inquire about our league at info@nycsl.com
The NYCSL is committed to providing our membership a safe and fair play league following FIFA guidelines.
Please remain safe and vigilant.
Together, we shall create a better place for soccer in New York.

Rudolf Sanchez
NYCSL Director
Soccer in New York Since 1995

You are wrong. Grossman stole the acronym from a minority person who owns NYCSL. Checkout www.NYCSL.com

It is too bad that Mr. Sanchez has not brought an action against Grossman, EDP, CJSL, and ENYYSA.

Grossman didn't care, USCS didn't care and now Shilling & EDP, etal. doesn't care.

I truly dont know. I believe Mr. Sanchez is seeking an attorney pro bono, or is going to create a gofundme page so he can reclaim his name. The folks he would have to go after all have deep pockets so I'm confident if it is determined he has a case, which appears he does, this should create a humbling of all these entities beating up on a Latino business.

Thank you for your question Anonymous.
The reasoning is due to having No vaccine yet for COV-19, with the earliest trials estimated to be in early 2021, which we will cautiously open league play up in Spring 2021.
To further give reason for this decision, is the rise in cases accross the country in major cities, and NY State is going back to a pause or slow down on the reopening phases.
The NYCSL shall always keep the safety first of our membership at the forefront.
In this, we shall look to unite our fractured soccer community in a safe environment, and build a better league with your support.
These times we must be vigilant and not jeopardize our health, and the health of our neighbors.
Secondly, there are no available parks, city, state, or federal, that will be giving permits out the remainder of the summer, and it is highly unlikely in the Fall 2020.
We are being cautious and observing New York State guidelines, and US Soccer's recommendations. If Schools don't open their fields for the Fall, it leaves no options for clubs to host home games for league play or tournaments.
We shall register clubs only for league play in 2021 Spring season, and it would allow clubs to start training in limited sessions, as per New York State guidelines.
New York State may delay their phase opening should there continue to be a rise in COV-19 cases.
We want clubs and all those involved with youth soccer to continue to be safe, wear masks, use social distancing, limit the amount of people involved in gathering to 10 person max, starting Monday, July 6. That would be 9 players plus one coach/trainer/volunteer/parent. Should you need two adults, then the number of players goes to 8 maximum.
My e-mail info@nycsl.com is open for any communication.

Thanks you.

Dirty Sanchez,
I feel bad for you that no one knew you existed or that Grossman used your NYCSL. Sue them if you have any proof etc.
Good luck
