My daughter played for East Meadow and had a great experience. Excellent training and the price was extremely reasonable. Very well run organization.

Depends on what trainer u have, pricing is reasonable I guess compared to Alby and Susa standards but what is that really saying? Lots of politics. Playing at speno park sucks unless u all enjoy stepping in goose crap every step. The 2007 group is tough as Gary Sullivan thinks he is the best trainer in the world, the B team(ECRL) is really the Farmingdale team that is weak and the other team has some French coach who yells at the kids none stop, so enjoy

yeah kick ass playing the same teams over and over, but when you arrive at a tournament as you have the last two plus seasons you failed to even place. And when the horrible coach you have/had tried to place them in lower flights in tournaments they still could not place. So keep giving yourself accolades, if it provides you comfort for paying all that money and getting horrible training.

Yep that's right that 07 ECNL team is the best on LI-LMAO.

I can't wait to see the faces on the parents/kids coming from Alby, who are used to tough physical training regiments required of DA programs, and go through a SUSA practice. It will feel like going from a Division 1 college to middle school ball.

Good luck to the ALBY players/parents going to SUSA all I can say is don't believe a word coming out of JR or NIR- you will be greatly disappointed.

What? You dont believe JR? What is this world coming too? JR is the most honest guy you will ever meet. To prove my point ask him why he is no longer a tenured high school math teacher? I'm sure he will tell why he had to resign, NOT!! I will never understand why SUSA hooked up with JR. No one walks away from a tenured teaching position unless it is to retire. So the question really is why was he retired? Ask him.

That’s going to go over well with the parents that have been with that EM team for awhile, GS gets a better team by default, would love to hear the song and dance the midget try’s to sell the orig EM parents on how they will benefit from going to that weak ass ECRL team, should be interesting.

for the very strong players remember there is only room for 36 legit ECNL spots (Susa & EMSC) and 18 GA (LISC) spots. Do the math and would be unfortunate to have your dds that are clearly A players to play on B teams bc of bad decision making and getting strung along. Likely a dozen A team caliber players in this pool will be playing on these B teams as a result.

Started? Their trainers have been meeting with kids for weeks now. I was surprised how many trainers have met with groups of kids during late March and April. Not sure if clubs were aware or trainers did on own. Hoping everyone can get back to fields soon.

I'm sure it will exist. What we may see now with all the tumult due to the virus is a continuous move over to USYSA via EDP. The EDP machine is a formidable force because of their huge footprint. EDP had a serious falling out with US Club a few years back and coupled that with the NPL/NYCSL decision to stop promoting their leagues has put a hurt on them.

FYI...keep an eye out to see if the rumors of NYCSL partnering with SUSA in their new tournament business....keeping in mind it is all about money, all about money, all about money, all about money, all about money, all about money, for all these millionaire investors.

I'm not too familiar with the league landscape... can you translate what this means?
They will play more against NJ EDP teams now (more in the Red Bulls territory)?
Wasn't MSC affiliated to NYCFC through NYCSL NPL?

July 6th Phase I practice starts. Small groups of 9 player max, 1 coach. Maintain social distancing

July 27th Phase II Full team training. Social distancing. Need 3 weeks minimum to track COVID-19

August 17th Phase III Full team competition. Local and single day competitions recommended. Larger events guided by local government

August 27th Phase IV No restrictions provided COVID-19 is no longer a health concern and there are no local and state restrictions

All good news but any tournaments on LI this summer is still a long shot. Everything depends on things going perfectly, which they rarely do. Murphy's Law and all that sort of thing you know.
