IS nobody else mortified by the terrible English displayed in this PR? Do they really mean no soccer until 100% certainty of being safe to play a contact sport? 100%? The only way to guarantee that is a vax......

The above release from ENYYSA is not a total blanket. It does affect US Club teams or leagues, and I do not believe it includes EDP leagues and teams...in our area I think it only applies to CJSL and LIJSL teams.

Be that as it may, I don’t think you will see one group, say NYCSL, play and otherS, LIJSL not. If, god forbid, there was to be a breakout of covid cases, NYSCL would have so much liability exposure it would sick (pun intended). Every infected person will sue and argue nycsl didn’t exercise the reasonable standard, as LIJSL demonstrated. Everyone will either play or cancel. I’m betting the later.

I can certainly see NYCSL playing IF, and ONLY IF, the teams can get field permits. The first lock that needs a key to play will be field permits (assuming the rules permit).
