Good Afternoon
The NYCSL announces suspension of operations for the foreseeable future, and hopes all are well, and stay safe. Please follow precautions as indicated by local, state, and federal government.
All facts of life have temporarily come to a halt, please try to remain in positive spirit, and treat each other with the virtues we have learned on the field, respectfulness, kindness, and courtesy.
The NYCSL will continue to promote the sport as time dictates a safe environment for all participants and members of our association. We are proud to be a member of US Soccer, and thank you for observing safety measures in place by government.
Please be safe in these critical times in our nation, and the world.
The NYCSL suspends all activities until further notice.

While I agree that the spring season is almost certainly toast. That doesn't technically say that. It just says for the foreseeable future.

This is the original NYCSL. You can check them out at www.NYCSL.com

I can confirm that the original post is true.

So is NYCSL canceled or suspended for Spring? Two different things.

Sorry guys, but after the Sesa/Oceanside debacle, this thread is incredibly misleading and click bait. Maybe a little consideration and clarify in the title?

I'm not denying that the body of the post is true. It's the subject line that I'm questioning. The official announcement doesn't say that that the spring season has been cancelled, only that they are suspending operations at this time.

Personally I do think that the spring season is toast, but the announcement doesn't say that.

I do know Long Island soccer and I know it very well and obviously I know it’s a bit better than you. As I said this is the New York City Soccer League.

NYCSL.com belongs to the New York City Soccer League. That’s what NYCSL stands for.

OK let's have some fun. Who owned that domain first, these folks or GG?

New York City Soccer has been around a lot longer. I am guessing they owned the domain and thats why GG has his domain.

Hi Larry

Any chance you can start a new thread asking which clubs are still charging a full tuition even though the season seems to be canceled and they are obviously not offering a service during these "stay home" order months?

No one needs a thread for this. What everyone needs to do is make sure they money for food, rent, gas, and real necessities. Soccer is not anywhere close to a necessity. All folks have to do is contact their club or academy in writing and tell them they do not have permission to charge thier card. If that is done, and their card is still charged, then that is the time to contact BOTN.
