Last night, a good portion of the Atletico FC NY family came together to help feed Long Island families this Thanksgiving.

Atletico players accepted donations, divided them by team, sorted all food items, bagged the requested individual full meals AND loaded all the meals in to the LONG ISLAND CARES cargo van. They worked together and tirelessly. So proud of those boys!!

The winner of this year’s ATLETICO CHALLENGE were the Atletico 05 Boys!! They collected 81 full meals to secure their victory! This is the 05 boys’ SECOND year winning the Atletico Challenge. Great job boys! Congratulations!!

Thank you to everyone who made a donation. We know everyone’s so busy this time of year and we really appreciate those who took the time to donate.

Last night, the Atletico FC NY soccer club was able to donate 161 FULL Thanksgiving Meals!
161 FULL Thanksgiving Meals were collected and donated!

161 Long Island families, who may have otherwise gone without, will now be able to enjoy a delicious meal this Thanksgiving, thanks to the efforts of all involved.

This was Atletico’s second year participating in Long Island Cares‘ “Adopt-A-Family” program. The club was able to donate 161 meals this year, beating last year’s donation of 133 meals by 28. The club is one of the top donors to this successful program.
Congratulations again 05 Boys!!

Thank you to Mary's Pizza and Pasta in Islip Terrace for their generous pizza party donation!!

Thank you also to the teams with other clubs who reached out!
