How many teams does World Class have in 2008?

Not sure how many but i know they have 1 really good team

They have 5 or 6 teams at 2008. Two teams are playing their pre ECNL schedule and their NPL schedule. The mid level team is playing in NYCSL. They are all pretty good, but one of the Pre ECNL teams is head and shoulders above the others. Having my daughter tryout for their ECNL team next spring, so I am doing my homework.

Are any clubs In this age group having tryouts in winter break?

Yes. Check the tryouts board. I expect more tryouts to be posted this week as the season comes to a close.

They were the only LI team in EDP and played teams that are higher quality then in NPL. If you look at their record they Tied 4 games lost 3 and two of those losses were by 1. Not too bad. Goes to show you how competitive they were against bigger clubs then EM Alby and Aurbendale. But hey I’m sure they would’ve loved to beat up against Gold Coast.

Can you translate what this means? Did you just glorify a season where you didn't win a game and then compare yourself to three other teams you never beat? Am I reading that correctly?

To be fair, NHP has been competitive with all major programs in LI. They’re the only option In Nassau in which the business oriented DA or ECNL team politics come into play. You can only have x amount of players per roster. So after EM or Alby, if NHP can keep it together they would be the next best option playing in EDP.

On behalf of a NHP... we respect all clubs! Not sure where that last post is coming from but, We don’t condone this type of posts here or in any other forum. The NHP Girls 2008 group has been very competitive through out the years. Being that the post is anonymous, we believe none of our parents would use this to display that type of opinion but we will still like to apologize for that post. We try our best to stay under the radar and concentrate on our players and nothing else. Alberston EM Aurbendale and the rest of the clubs in Nassau have been a pleasure to play against. There is a lot of talent in this group and each club is doing right by their kids. Keep up the great job everyone.

When NHP top players leaving I would think soon?

This season! EM wants them in the spring! NHP has great players, I’m not surprised that EM wants them.

Where are the SURF and Aurbendale players going? I see some of them training for Alberston!

Surf has nobody that the alby A team wants, all their players are better and I am sure it’s the same with auburndale. Maybe the alby B team would take a player or two, I’m sure crazy alby b team parents would love that!!
