Just an observation. FS Orange Machine beat Dix Hills 3-0 last week, and I cant find any obnoxious posts from their parents celebrating Dix Hills losing. But Dix Hills beats them this week, and they call them “BROWN machine” (racist) and celebrating like they have just won the world cup. Calling 9 year olds brown? No wonder Kozy and his parents have a bad reputation. Low lives...

PS Thank God somebody beat the Orange Machine, parents with the drums are a little much.

Are parents really ranting and raving at a 2010 game ? What a shame. Plus i didn't even think Franklin Square even had a program ? This team won't be relevant in a year or 2 once the parents realize it. Still laughing that it's a team from Franklin Square. Who would've thought

So parents of High School players felt Kozy was not fit to coach their 15to 18 year olds but the moron parents ok with him coaching their 9 year olds! All the best. Don’t say warning signs were not there. You’ll only have yourselves to blame for leaving your own kids vulnerable to this clown! Martin should be held accountable when the crap hits the fan

So you're good with parents running halfway on to the field after a goal? During an 8 and 9 year old soccer game?

Yellow Card the Coach If it happens again Red Card

FS Orange Machine got crushed, plain & simple!! Shove the drums and noise makers up your $@#%@!!! Dix Hills is the better team and a 6-1 thrashing is not an accident or the "ref's fault". Orange machine will now look to poach talent from small neighboring town clubs to get them over the top. They will promise them the world, I hope parents don't take the bait.

LOL. Enjoy this fall and the coming spring. The small/town clubs do not survive into 9v9 on bigger fields. The bigger clubs with more resources will go after players at clubs like Dix Hills and Franklin Square - let's see where we are when DH and FS are both 2-5-1 next fall.

I seriously doubt the comment about brown machine came from parents of that team!!! And agree that comment is just ugly and disgusting !!

DH parents are a great group of parents, just regular but highly soccer interested moms and dads. This thread is bringing out a lot of nastiness, but I don’t think that’s truly how it is out there during ( most) games!!! And FS parents are just also passionate and excited about the sport and that’s how they show it - with drums etc.

There has been so much negativity on this thread from the beginning and that’s so sad!
I know someone suggested earlier to end this thread and start over. I support that 100%!!

Let me guess, your sons team is?

These two teams are the best around, for now. One just won NYCSL and the other won Brooklyn Tournament where NYSC , Bwg, BARCA, and DUSC all entered. FS beat Dix Hills 3-0 and Dix Hills beat FS 6-1. They both beat everyone else in LI/Queens and its not even close.

The OM have 3 teams in the 2010 age group so fielding a 9v9 or 11v11 team should not be an issue

Orange Machine will put a great team when going 9v9 and 11x11 in a few years. There is so much talent on all three teams they are interchangeable. A big issue is they tend to keep players in one position. This makes players unhappy if you only get to play defense. Those players will not stay around.

In a few years and probably sooner the Orange Machine will go the way of the Rug Rats. The club and the coaching do not have the chops to compete at a higher level, nor does the club or coaching group have the pathway to the higher level leagues, which at the very best will keep them within the recreational realm. That said, which one of your parents has already started shopping the team or their child around?

Lets not forget to mention that at this age...U little, there is No guarantee that a dominating team barely out of diapers will cont to be dominant at U13 and Older....Puberty kicks in and effects all kids differently ...some kids get bigger, stronger, faster, smarter and other kids don't develop physically and mentally as other kids....next thing you know, that U13 team is not playing as well as when they were U10....as a parent you start asking the questions...why?
