Immmmm..hey gda...before you lecture the peons of HS ball...take a look at the padded stats in your own league of your so called superstars pounding goal after goal on weak inferior competition. Scoring leaders!! 3, 4, 5 6, goals a game!

So, Fury told the parents that they are about to get ECNL, and you believed them? You should definitely stay at Fury!

Congratulations you definitely get the stupid award for your post. You just make things up and think it’s the truth. So if those game reports show a player with yellow cards or even a red card does that mean by fouling a player they think they are above the rules as well and therefore they should stop recruiting them as well?. ”Thoult shall not foul”.
You have no clue what a college coaching staff does when they vette recruits. It goes way beyond anything that evidently you can comprehend. If you think a kid who gets suspended for playing high school and DA is eliminated from being recruited you have no understanding of college recruitment. You then must believe that any player that has a verbal commitment should now lose there spot. Highly unlikely. It’s more like wishful thinking on your part and you should be ashamed of yourself.
Wow, Fury staff and parents are out in full force today! Just eat your [****] sandwich and take your punishment and deal with it. The poster above isn't entirely wrong. Doesn't that show bad decision making on the family's part?
Oh, where's your DoC been? Plotting his full time move to NC?
Keep playing on your Surf c team and stfu already. My kid is suspended and still can outplay your kid while sitting home eating bonbons
Nice to see you're still in denial and deflecting the fact that you and Riley f'd up. But stay classy and keep paying him.

Ever see him tweet about Fury? His freakin' dogs are more important than your kid.
Happy Halloween! Fury is spooktacular and a ghost of it former self. In fact, Phil and PR are ghosts at fury. However, PR tweets about his dogs being captain america

Around the GDA last weekend:

The following scores have been reported for U16, U17 and U19 games NOT involving FC Fury:

7-0; 10-0; 5-0; 6-0; 4-0; 4-0; 3-0; 6-1; 7-1; 9-1; 9-0; 6-0; 5-0; 3-0

Oakwood is a top GDA team. There is a lot of disparity between the top GDA teams and the middle; the middle and the bottom. I'm sure the same is true in ECNL.

Based on the game reports submitted (looks like just over half as of 1 PM Monday), at least four other clubs nationally show suspended players.

Nice try Nick FULL-OF-IT!
That doesn’t condone Fury behavior. 2 wrongs don’t make a right.
Your hanky panky doesn’t go over well here On these boards.

I once cheated at monopoly. I must repent.

Problem is they deflected blame by naming coaches and clubs as rats. But truth be told they have been complaining about this stuff for months. They kept pushing others anonymous posters to call the DA and complain. Because they didn't have the balls to do it themselves. Stand up for your rules by standing up.

Lol saying OW is a "top" GDA club tells you everything you need to know about GDA.

One of the issues that we have here on Long Island in attracting quality trainers is our cost-of-living versus what clubs and academies are paying their trainers.

If the trainers already live here in our established it’s a lot easier than coming in from out of town or out of the country and setting up a home. I don’t see it changing, do you?

Unfortunately NO. Generally speaking the clubs “business model” is to treat the coaches/trainers as “Agents” rather than employees which means they have no health insurance nor other benefits that employees would have with for profit or not for profit. Being paid by the hour means they have to not only coach 2-3 teams but have to generate secondary income either with private training or other means. There is no way they can afford to have an affordable income to live on LI if they also have to support a family. If clubs invested in coaches with supporting them getting coaching licenses, some sort of income stability and maybe even health care then they can adequately promote there clubs/teams and maybe players will show loyalty to that specific club instead of moving from club to club. Too much uncertainty with the clubs over the pool of players that leads to a general lack of transparency.

Clubs can't stay in business that way. The price they'd have to charge families and still make a decent profit would chase away customers. Costs to participate in youth soccer are already way too high and players are dropping out (partly) because of it ( participation in youth soccer is down 15% in just 3 years). Besides, it's how the entire coach labor market operates. Sure it would differentiate one club from the pack, but again at too high a price for customers. About the only way you make a living coaching is at the college level (and even then as a head coach).

One way we can improve coaching quality is if USSF substantially lowered the absurdly high cost of getting higher licensure. They are sitting on a cash stockpile of over $150M. Getting more highly trained coaches out there benefits the US game in the long run. But everyone - leagues and clubs - only care about their short term bottom line. As the sport's governing body USSF could make a difference.
