Easier said than done. Plus I’m sure he likes the attention.

At least - maybe by 40. They won this tournament last year by 30....so why not go back again? Afterall, they tied FS two weeks ago.....gotta get back to beating inferior town clubs. Vape Mom runs her mouth every chance she gets about how "there is no one on Long Island that can give us a game". LMAO. Have fun in Northport.

If you are blowing out teams by that margin go to a better Tournament with better competition. Beating teams that badly is not good for their team, or the kids they play. Go to EDP in NJ play teams you've never played before. I would never do Brooklyn Italians again 5 hour gaps between games. Three years ago cars stuck everywhere in the mud. Poorly run tournament.

If your a boys team on Long Island and want to play the upper level local teams as well as teams from the surrounding areas (5 boroughs, Westchester, etc) with reasonable daily travel this is the tournament that makes sense to play in. Saying to just travel to NJ is not feasible for some if not most especially from eastern Long Island . I looks like most if not all (minus Dix Hills) the teams that have been discussed in some capacity on this thread are playing there. We should wish the best of luck to all of them, see how things shake out and discuss further afterwards.

Those of you going to Brooklyn this weekend should be even more happy that you won't have to hear the screeching voice saying "YEAH..... WOOOOOO.. WAY TO GO GUYS" on the parent sideline. Sorry for those of you going to Northport.. I'm sure the "YEAH..... WOOOOOO" will be in full effect for every goal and play during the 10-0 blow outs.

Call us all back when these U10 boys reach U15 or U16 and see if they are still the badasses you portray them to be. Get a life, these are U10 boys. Keep things in perspective parents as you obviously don't have older kids to remind you that early success isn't a guarantee of future success. The worm will turn and all those team you beat up on will get better. Mark my words people

14-0 for Dix Hills today. Kozy has those parents in the palm of his hand.

the machine beat barca in the final 5-4. entertaining back and forth game. in the end the kid from Franklin square drilled two free kicks to win. all the boys played hard. someone had a drone so there's gotta be a video.

definitely wasnt the third team. i couldnt tell if it was first or second (both were there and undefeated), but it was a very good team.

overall impressions of barca (not a barca parent): solid coaching, very talented kids, great style. they went 10-1 at the younger ages with their top teams there and were unlucky not to be undefeated.

Barca had their #1 and #2 teams at Brooklyn Italian tournament.
Teams #3 and #4 at Northport tournament.

Go look it up -- Brooklyn Italians Columbus Cup.
And then look at the competition in that bracket and do the math for yourself.
The two finalists from last year were not even there.

Just as I predicted...
Was Orange Machine the team with the annoying parents who bring drums?
(Someone brought drums last year, wasn't sure which age group and which team though)

I think the barca 2010 team will be the "it" team as the kids get older and start to play real soccer (11v11) with a #5 ball....right now all these teams...dix hills, barca, FS still playing kiddie ball!!!

It's hilarious that you guys are going on and on about u10 soccer. Get over it. This orange machine won't be together within 2 years and all these other random teams won't be either. I've never heard of Franklin Square teams until now and trust me they will find greener pastures soon

I overheard that a team got a yellow card due to the parents being obnoxious at the tournament. Was it them?

That was Barca. And after they lost the final one parent violently charged the referee and to be restrained by 5+ brooklyn italians tournament staff. Barca parents were obnoxious and toxic. Franklin parents were just as loud, but didnt see anything negative from them. No drums or bells from either side. Just flags and loud parents.

Both teams sidelines were loud but Franklin Square was definitely louder. There were a couple of airhorns but no drums that I heard.

There was some kind of altercation at the end of the game with all the parents on the field but that might have just been a misunderstanding.

Overall I thought the Barca team was stronger and more skilled but at the end that kid really won it with those free kicks.

And yes while it is a big waste of time to post on this stuff at any age group, what a bigger waste of time it is to post about others wasting their time.

What was the yellow card for? Also, why was the one Barca parent so angry he/she charged the ref?

The Barca team at Northport went 0-4, better hope it wasn’t their A team. Obviously it wasn’t. Dix Hills looked ok but not as dominant as expected. As someone mentioned previously, they will be disbanded by U13 like every other Dix Hills team. Same with Franklin Square. It’s hard to keep all those egos in check.

Kozy won't make it with this group beyond U11.

YOU ARE A BARCA PARENT. EVERYONE SAW THE BARCA DAD RUN UP TO THE REFEREE AND GRAB HIM. OTHER BARCA PARENTS HELD HIM BACK.
