Franklin Square parents are atrocious. Screaming at their players to kill and maim the kids on the other team, cow bells, horns - think of the most obnoxious soccer parents you can imagine.

SUSA and MetO were awful last year at U10. Orange Machine was OK but not great. I think Barca is probably at the top. Heard good things about Dix Hills too.

There were plenty of coaches and parents that were insane at this age level during the futsal winter season last year.

Cowbells, horns and screaming is fine, some parents get excited and it's their right. But if I heard a parent from opposing team yell to hurt or maim my child, i would throat punch the fockers!!!

Franklin square is good but Dix Hills is great and best team in age group. Much better than Barca.

Look at Cup results: SUSA lost all their games. MO only does well when they have the Manhattan Kickers on their team. In NYCFC CSL, they lost games in the double digits, as did SUSA. Orange Machine has more talent but also relies on playing dirty to be effective (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, I guess). Barca seems to have done well but fell in rankings over the spring due to injuries. Dix Hills has done well but wondering why they were D2 last year. Looks like they will play in D1 this year, but Barca's top team has gone to NYCFC CSL, and so have the Kickers, Valencia, and Albertson, so competition may not be as high level. BWG and Orange Machine are still around though, so will be interesting to see how they do.

Valencia and Albertson were hardly competitive last year in NYCSL D1 so I do not see how them moving to CSL will negatively impact the level of play. Dix Hills moving up will make the division stronger (btw they should have been D1 last year).

Dix Hills was kept in D-2 last season because of Kozy's reputation. Ask Larry.

So what changed? Nothing. Team deserves to be in D1. Will go undefeated.

Then they tie their first game 1-1.

Nothing changed - Kozy's antics had his team purposefully passed over for a promotion to D-1 in Spring 2019. They did deserve to be in D-1 in the spring.

Tough one yesterday - Dix Hills controlled the game, Johan "parked the bus" for much of the game and had his kids clear the ball all day. Not a bad strategy - but a strategy for a team that knows they can't compete head-to-head. Tense game - Dix Hills' Helicopter Mama/Videographer was hitting that Vape like a redheaded stepchild.

Dills Hills mom is crazy yelling at her son who plays forward. The kid is good but the mother is so worried that Kozy is going to sit him. Pretty sad to watch.

She's not worried - if Kozy isn't playing her kid where she wants him to play she will pack up the kid and the other 5 or 6 kids she brought to Kozy and find someone else that will. She's done it before. Kozy knows it.

nyclub doesnt pass over teams on purpose, yes kozy team deserves to be in d1 but there are already to many teams in d1...nyclub did all the other teams in d2 a disservice by allowing dix hills in the division.

Parked the bus? Doesn't sound like the Orange Machine team?

Oh, WAIT!

The Dix Hills "goal" was actually an Orange Machine own goal that they made when trying to play out from the back. Orange Machine was clearly the better team and were running riot in the 2nd half, hit the post and crossbar 3 times. Nothing against Dix Hills, their defense is incredible. Anybody who knows both of these teams and who was at this game knows this is a very fair report. Both are very strong teams, light years ahead of the other U10 teams this early in the game. (they are only 9, relax everyone)

Franklin Square gave it to Dix Hills pretty good. Dix Hills has an excellent defense and a couple of good attackers. They got pushed around in the midfield - especially Vape Lady's kid......he's a liability for that team when they play good teams.

This is the vape lady's husband, I don't need to post Anonymous like you have been about my family. You clearly now who I am so if you have something to say about my wife or my son please come to the field and say it to my face. If at the end of the day you "get off" on posting on a 9 year olds soccer forum about an grown adult and a 9 year old you clearly have some serious issues. This forum should be about love of the game not trashing people or kids.

Every town that brings Kozy in to train a young team is going to have players poached. It's a fact and has happened at several clubs not just those listed above. Like letting the fox in the hen house.
