CONCACAF Boys U-13 Champions League Knockout To Be Televised

Concacaf today announced the match schedule for the fifth edition of the Concacaf Under-13 Champions League.

For the first time, the youth competition will take place in San Jose, Costa Rica on August 10-17, at the Complejo Deportivo Fedefutbol Plycem.

The 2019 edition of Concacaf’s youngest age tournament will be disputed in two stages, between 16 clubs from 11 Concacaf Member Associations. After an initial group phase, the top two finishers in each group will advance directly to the round of 16, while the 3rd and 4th place clubs will continue play in the Shield bracket for final placement.

The official draw that determined the groups was conducted on Tuesday, April 30 at the BBVA Stadium in Monterrey, Mexico, ahead of the return leg final of the 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League between Tigress UANL and CF Monterrey.

In the previous edition of the Scotiabank Concacaf Under-13 Champions League, hosted at the Mexican Football Federation Headquarters in Toluca, Mexico, Los Angeles FC topped Juniors Tampico 2-0 in the final, becoming the first team from the United States to win the competition.

Fans will be able to watch the knockout stage live via the Concacaf Facebook page.
