I don't understand how teams with kids playing on High School teams will be able to train together. NYCSL is claiming clubs were asking for this. i know my club did not. Succes or failure on this?

NYCSL does not tell the truth on too many occasions, and this is probably another one of their attempts to deceive their member clubs. I would certainly ask more questions or pull the team from NYCSL and play in EDP or LIJSL. Leaving NYCSL is no big deal nor will it negatively impact your team.

There are also many high school age players who do not play school ball. A full season would work for them.

Was this officially stated somewhere? I can't find anything on the NYCSL site.

Yes we changed the format to a full seasonal year for the U15 age group

This was done as many teams requested a full season. Please note the games in Sept/Oct will be played on Sunday

I dont buy it. How many teams? How come the 2005 havent made those same requests to LIJSL or EDP? More lies and partial truths from the nycsl

EDP BU15 was a full fall season last year -- at least the top divisions were.

This still happening? This is the age where kids really starting dropping off -- 6 days a week of soccer could push many over the edge!

They shouldn't be doing HS and club. It's way too much. Some states restrict club/HS sports in the same season with good reason. This is really for the kids who aren't playing HS or maybe some older 8th graders with no fall teams to play on. Anyone trying to do both is setting themselves up for exhaustion and overuse injuries.

False... National Leagues which is top division in EDP didn't start until the spring, the fall season did not have full participation.

Once again, NYCSL pusts on their site that alignments would be posted by a specific date and on that date they are not posted without explanation.

You cannot meet a deadline that you give yourself?
