Following a two-year review of our Boys ECNL National Events, decisions were made to improve the overall experience for players, clubs, and college coaches. We are extremely excited to welcome Las Vegas, NV and Greer, SC as host cities for the 2019-2020 Boys ECNL National Event Series. In also recently announcing ECNL U13/U14 Showcase events in Palm Coast, FL and Richmond, VA, the Boys ECNL will take significant steps forward to enhance a platform of opportunities for the 91 clubs set to compete this coming season!
This email contains important information regarding the 2019-2020 Boys ECNL National Events. The Boys ECNL has assigned clubs and teams to the events (U15s attend 1 event, U16s and U17s each attend 2 events, and U18/U19s attend 1 event). Please review the attached draft event assignments immediately.
The dates and selections for the 2019-20 Boys ECNL National Events are as follows:

National Event Travel Information
For planning purposes, below are the preliminary travel guidelines for the Boys ECNL National Events and a summary of the hotel booking process. Please remember that no Boys ECNL Club or team may make hotel reservations for any events (including U13-14 Showcase Events when applicable) outside of the Boys ECNL booking process. Teams should not book departures before the recommended departure time; Boys ECNL will not make schedule changes for travel conflicts. Please note, there is ONE Boys ECNL National Event that is not booked through the Boys ECNL, but instead through the specific event: Boys ECNL Pennsylvania. We will have more information on the booking process for that event.
For each National Event, Boys ECNL officials will randomly draw club names from a pot to determine reservation order at the event. The hotel lottery will be complete in the coming days. (To ensure fairness for all teams, teams that are in the bottom part of the lottery for one event will be drawn in the top part of the lottery at a future event.) Once the reservation order has been determined, each club will be notified of their spot in the booking process. The first five clubs for designated events will then also be notified when they will be "on the clock" to begin the booking process. Each club "on the clock" will receive a link to the reservation website(s) and will be given a minimum of 48 hours to evaluate the available choices and make a hotel selection to best suit their club. After 48 hours, Club #1 will be contacted by Maverick Sports to make their hotel reservation. Clubs will not need to initiate contact - Maverick Sports will initiate contact with each club. As soon as this reservation is secured, Maverick Sports will move to Club #2. This procedure will be repeated until we have successfully booked every club and every team.
Las Vegas, NV | U15-U18/U19

Sanford, FL | U16-U18/U19

Downingtown, PA (FC Delco Player's Cup) | U15-U17
· Hotels: For the PA event, all hotels are to be booked through the FC Delco Players Cup. More information on this process will be announced in the coming months.
· Schedules will be announced in the Spring of 2019.

Payments for National Events
Instructions are posted under the Resource Center on the website (click here). In addition, Boys ECNL Member Clubs will be sent invoices for each event.
ECNL U13/U14 Showcase Information
The 2019-2020 Boys ECNL Competition season will include three (3) optional ECNL U13/U14 Showcase events, however space is limited at each of these events. Of these three events, 1 is in conjunction with a National Event, and two are stand-alone showcases. The following dates and locations have been selected:
· Fall Event #1: Palm Coast, FL | Sat., October 12 - Mon., October 14, 2019
· Fall Event #2: Las Vegas, NV | Fri., November 22 - Sunday, November 24, 2019
· Spring Event #1: Richmond, VA | Friday., May 1 - Sunday, May 3, 2020
All Boys ECNL clubs are asked to submit their ECNL U13/U14 Showcase Event preferences to the ECNL via online submission. The online form will open today, June 20th, 2019, and will close on Friday, June 28th, 2019. Once submitted, the Boys ECNL will review and notify each club of their U13/U14 Showcase Events. The entry fee for the U13/U14 Showcase Events is $1,200.

**No club should make any transportation reservations until the Boys ECNL notifies them of their events and various travel guidelines and requirements.
