Ten-man New England Revolution knocked out the New York Red Bulls, 3-2 in the Fourth Round of the U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday night at MSU Soccer Park at Pittser Field.New England opened the scoring in the first minute of the match as Juan Agudelo back-heeled to the far post to beat goalkeeper¬†Ryan Meara.
Following a restart of play,¬†Sean Davis¬†lofted a pass over the New England defense for
Tom Barlow¬†to dribble into the 18-yard box and curl to the far post for the equalizer in the 17th¬†minute.
Omir Fernandez, from the top of the 18-yard box, set up¬†Cristian Casseres, Jr., who launched his shot underneath the crossbar for the go-ahead goal in the 54th¬†minute.
Teal Bunbury evened the score up in the 85th¬†minute as he snuck his shot past Meara to the far post.In extra time,
