Ten-man New England Revolution knocked out the New York Red Bulls, 3-2 in the Fourth Round of the U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday night at MSU Soccer Park at Pittser Field.New England opened the scoring in the first minute of the match as Juan Agudelo back-heeled to the far post to beat goalkeeper Ryan Meara.

Following a restart of play, Sean Davis lofted a pass over the New England defense for
Tom Barlow to dribble into the 18-yard box and curl to the far post for the equalizer in the 17th minute.

Omir Fernandez, from the top of the 18-yard box, set up Cristian Casseres, Jr., who launched his shot underneath the crossbar for the go-ahead goal in the 54th minute.

Teal Bunbury evened the score up in the 85th minute as he snuck his shot past Meara to the far post.In extra time,

Bunbury stole a Red Bulls pass and sent a curling shot over the outreach of Meara for the eventual game winner.

Barlow and Casseres Jr. both scored their first career Open Cup goals

Fernandez and Davis each tallied their first career Open Cup assists.

Meara, who wore the captain's armband, started and played his 13th career Open Cup match.

Rece Buckmaster, who was recently signed to a short-term loan, made his first team debut and start.New York will return to MLS action when they host the Chicago Fire on Friday, June 28 at Red Bull Arena.
