Clearly this is the dad and he's fully bought into the club where his kid is playing and he's very proud of his son, so let's just leave it at that. Let him enjoy his big moment.

Italy hasn't won since 2006 and I'm pretty sure didn't even qualify last time. Things change.

Cinco! And we didn't need scandal to win any of them! Can you honestly say that?

Pushes them to press which makes it difficult to play against but overall the coach is a total buffoon. They should be kicked out of the DA. By the way, the effective forward received a 2nd yellow card and the coach freaked out got a yellow himself and somehow the ref retracted the 2nd yellow for the forward. And the ref didn't give us 10 yards on two free-kicks even though the football hash marks (embarrassing to lines for other sports) proved they were only 8 yards away and ran in 4 more yard before ball was struck. Looking forward to not being in the DA next year. Looking to come back at u16/17 when it matters more.

Stop crying , if this if that.

Why can’t we blame the dad? Tacky is tacky. Good for hîm for making money off of his 10 year old son on Instagram but it is gross .

If the kid is at RDS pre academy is for a reason. That's only for selected talented players .

TSF is actually a fine, scrappy team. It is a shame you choose to criticize Met Oval rather than boast about your tie with NYCFC the following day. Met Oval scored four goals in their game vs TSF (4-1). The "effective" kid did not score in this game but he had two assists. The other two goals came off of free kicks. Looks like teamwork and skill had more to do with their win than kick and run. In the future, please find the positive in these kids, including your team, rather than hate on them. They are all hard working kids trying to do the right thing.

Basta!

The question is why do some MLS DA Academy teams not perform well? The DA model certainly funnels the best talent to the MLS Academies. Style of play certainly is an explanation but kick and run and brute force eventually loses to elegant and smart soccer. Perhaps, it's coaching! There are some pretty good coaches not at MLS DA Academy teams that lick their lips at a chance to beat MLS Academies.

Some clubs don't care about their youth teams and would like nothing better than to be out of DA or at least do it much differently. Another board has hundreds of posts about how awful the Revs are, management and coaching. For their location and lack of other MLS clubs literally for hundreds of miles they should kick butt acquiring talent and performing.

It might also be that they’re learning something and they’re working on it in game and it takes precedent to pursuing the win at all costs.

Clearly you've never seen the Revs. Development doesn't have to come at the expense of development. Other clubs seem to have figured it out.
