Albertson is burning up faster that Kings Landing under Dragon Fire...

Ouch...

I feel horrible for the girls at Albertson Fury this shows that there is ZERO development occurring over there.

Do you realize how hard it is to lose by 6, 7, 10, and 15 goals?

True. A 6 - 0 score normally means it’s completely non-competitive. 7, 10, 15 is a call to completely shut down operations. It’s a waste of time for the other team(s)

Waste of time for us as well. Paul should be ashamed at what he has allowed to happen at this club. Spend some of the money you make on some quality coaches. Not these fakers.

Bad loss for Alby if the rumors of Caputo leaving are true. He's respected by the parents and players. Unlike Eric who's only interested in futsal and rainbows. And Aaron is only part time. Slick needs to find a way to keep him or he's losing even more players. Welcome to late June 2018 version 2.

Wow, I guess I should listen to these anonymous parents who are the soccer experts and have no agenda against the club. It’s “Spring cleaning time” so it’s in the best interests of everyone to do there own homework and see what club, team, training works best for your child. Go to as many open practices and training as you can and see where your daughter feels more comfortable. Look at her level of play vs. the others players on the team as well as the league the club plays in so you can see what is the most competitive and challenging for there “true” abilities. Too many parents have there own idea and live vicariously thru there children and do not see the reality of the child’s athletic and soccer abilities which leads to anonymous parents who take shots at clubs. They assume they are smarter than parents at the club who made choices what works best for there daughter. All parents should do the same rather than taking advice from anonymous parents.

Are the Albertson parents even considering spending more money to go out to San Diego to have their kids blown out there?

They actually did ok form a W/L standpoint in Colorado, but they played bottom of the table teams like themselves.

Giving up 15 Goals in a Game is Virtually Impossible that is like a goal every 6 minutes

It's actually worse than that. Look at the score card. She scored at minutes 2,4,6,8, 11, 16. Coach must have told her to let someone else score, because she took a break until minute 41, 43, 54 and 59. Was there a goalie in net?

It sounds like you are defending the numerous issues with the Alby Fury team. Please indulge us and explain what in regards to the training and club that we don't see that would even make this a viable option? Explain what development your daughter received losing game by 6+ goals and paying $5K for training costs?

I'm a bit confused after being on this thread for years. Everyone usually bashes the good teams to take them down a peg. Why trash a team that's already at the bottom?

Nobody is trashing the team

I don't think they're bashing the team or players. This falls on Slick. He has maybe 1 or 2 current full time U19 players. He's using younger EDP players to fill in, then Schmidt doesn't have 11 fingers so he can't figure out he needs that many on the field. The absentee landlord is allowing these players to be beaten down and has given his customers no plan to fix it, other than raising the fee again. Sad when dealing with players and parents who have committed time and money to the program.

because everyone loves to hate PR and his club. The Fury teams are decent, a little over .500 for each so they can't trash them but the ALBY teams certainly struggle because they are the second teams and trying to play in a DA league which is above many of their players. So when everyone has a chance to hate on them it is easy to sit behind their computer and trash a club and person that they hate. It's the way of the world, people love to trash others.

Please stop with the holier than thou routine. Slick has finally reaped what he sowed...

It's also a red flag for GDA. Alby never should have been admitted along with many other clubs. People are getting fed up with spending so much time and $ to play some of these weak clubs that belong in different leagues. Yes blowouts happen in ECNL sometimes too, but with DA people expect better competition.

The issue is the second team was paying in ECNL and slick lost that option and at the last minute offered them DA at a time tryout season was over.

and? ECNL 2 is just NPL rebranded under the ECNL umbrella. It has nothing to do with the many faults with GDA.

Today is the day Dues are due for Albertson GDA(Fury FC and Albertson Fury) to pay for next season to “Reserve” their spot. Basically those who can afford it buy their spot for next season.

Really no need for anyone to rush and pay. They certainly don't have any players lining up to come there...
