Beats the mess that is Long Island.

Go look at the most recent DA Nationals results. No better than Fury. Better players in there area prefer World Class last season at DA/ECNL and this season the majority of DA players stayed at WC instead of moving to NYSC to play DA.

NYSC never quits, and why should they?? Their brand is strong on the non-BDA side, its the first step to a MLS BA, but on the girls side they continue to be 2nd rate, which in all things considering isbn too bad....

The younger girls teams are very good, 09-07 are strong - the question will be whether they can retain the talent into U14-15 in the next few years.

If not, then your claim that they are very good is laughable. My daughter spent 4 years there, and won 2 straight NY Cups, and I thought they were very good too, until.....

They have played WC teams and lost. The strongest teams in the 07-09 age group will all be at WC now that the Clarkstown players have moved over at 07. Girls DA is not what is calling the better players and it just can’t seem to pick up traction in the NorthEast.

NYSC has all the attributes you wish they had on LI with good fields, good trainers with high licenseS but unfortunately the no high school rule does effect the players that will go there. You have private schools like Hackley & Masters that have very competitive sports programs and those players want to play high school and will not give it up. Therefore, those better players go to WC and play ECNL.

Is it true that the 05 NPL team merged with Surf Players and is being coached by the Surf coach?
