Its interesting (unfortunately) how prevalent match fixing in soccer seems to be worldwide.
But, that's one problem we don't seem to have very often in the USA, not in soccer or any other sport.
"Fixes" in the U.S. are rare -- the 1919 Black Sox scandal, the City College point shaving in the early 1950's come to mind, and maybe the Liston-Clay fight? And, there were other fights in the 1930's-1950's that were supposedly fixed by gamblers.
So, think about it, when was the last time you even heard about betting odds on an MLS game?
