How was the first day at PDA Showcase?

Ecnl teams from WC, EM and Susa looking pretty good overall. NPL teams not doing as well, but overall hanging in there.

Didn’t the EM 03 team go to finals last year? Now they look like they will not even qualify for CL if they as much as tie Match Fit

Perfect Tournament This weekend at PDA. Well run, hundreds of college coaches, perfect weather. Could not ask for any better

D plays for a 2002 NPL team, and I was actually shocked by how many college coaches came to Saturday's game. Even a couple of Ivy League coaches who I expected to be done with class of 2020 recruiting. Weather was perfect all three days, field conditions were beautiful (although some may complain that the grass was too thick).

Nothing to do with top players leaving? Keep changing the story line. ECNL no better than any other lettered league.

How many players are left on the team?

League. To qualify for CL EM needs to win one game
To qualify for CL MF would need 2 EM losses and at least a tie vs Maryland.

The issue is that EM has a great postseason last year.

The issue is the remaining superstar has nothing to play for no.

Both D3 & Ivy's have been known to recruit players (2020) into there Senior season. For the high academic schools it comes down to your SAT/ACT scores as well as your GPA. For those verbally committed not unheard of having to go through the admissions process and then be told not high enough and then having to look elsewhere. Plenty of excellent D3 programs will continue to look for 2020 even into the fall. Highly recommend attending those camps/clinics for schools your interested to attend.

Both EM and MFA face tough opponents this weekend in Susa and Maryland and then they face each other! If I were a betting man, I put my money on EM to get the W against Matchfit, which is really all they need.

No clue why you would be shocked.You are paying for the one stop shop. the coaches will be there because, lets face it, that is their job.

Doesn't matter who the coach is, they'll let her do whatever she wants on the field and won't coach or correct her.

I was shocked because D is not on an ECNL team, and we did not see this many coaches at other tournaments this year (Jeff Cup, Bethesda, etc). We did see a lot, but I would say that the number we saw this past Saturday was more than double what we saw at those other tournaments. Anyways, was happy to see it.
