I heard the heavy set Chaminade dad already starting problems. He wants his son to be the star of the show but he’s can’t acceot the fact that he’s no Vowinkel. He spent years putting that kid down out of jealousy but his son hasn’t come near filling his shoes. This guy needs a wake up call

They all need a wake up call at both Chaminade and St A's. Wish they'd played in that Brookhaven summer league we just had. They are no better than many of the regular HS teams and if they had to play tough games, week in week out instead of the dross they face, we'd get a much better picture of where they really stand. Yes, I have had a Friar kid and one in regular AA HS, so I do know. Good but not as special as they think.

You go JF. Calling ppl pathetic losers to redirect the attention from all your drama at St Ants. A starting spot costs a pretty penny these days ......

Center Moriches whole team is their goalie , William Floyd has an issue with ball hogs I can say that if their center mid field and defense would have released the ball to the wing instead of fancy footwork and or trying to be a star they could have scored , their defense was sloppy . If the coach gets his act together and uses his Spode and talent in the right way they can and will do great this fall but he’s got to stop the ball hogging , it was painful to watch

Do you mean he should invite them over for afternoon tea, or was that an autocorrect?

He will continue to shop him around to teams and camps like he has been all summer. This dad forces the kid and shuffles him from ID camp to ID camp with no days off in between.

Ok. I think it’s obvious who this is referring to. The guy who broke up The SUSA 01s. Cancer of youth soccer. And before his sidekick tells us pathetic losers to move on, I’ll answer for you. We have. Just funny to see time and time again, this guy lives down to his despicable reputation. Worst of the worst of LI soccer. How’s that move to Albertson treating you? Roster of 10, half underage, barely able to field a team, haven’t won a single game. And you broke up a very good SUSA team for this ? I’m not taking about SUSA black- I’m talking about the team that preceded you invading the club and destroying the age group. You are reaping what you have sown my friend.

I'm confused. My son plays JV soccer in the CHSAA. Isn't that where Chaminade and St. A play as well? They have a Catholic summer league or do they keep the team together and play for some club?

Can the kid play?

Nothing wrong with this.

I dislike the case of the parentnot giving the kid opportunities more than I do this situation

Dad has an ego?/ So what?

JF and the coach at St A tried to force all the St A kids to play together for the St A trainer. Only a couple of kids fell for it. The team they put together lost 90% of their games and then broke up.

But now he is at Alby full time, Flavio has picked up at least six of his St A players for the 02 team this fall, so things should pick up. Not sure what they did in 01. So yes to OP, the plan is to try and have at least the St A team all play on the same club, when they are not playing HS. Pretty smart. Then imagine if the Flyers and the Friars both took their best players and combined at Alby. That would be a team.

Fees are $1500. High for the number of training sessions and you pay extra for the tournament if your son is selected. Basically you are paying for a 4 day 3 night sleep away camp where the coaches from ENY don't bother to show up.

My son was recently given a face to face verbal offer from a D1 school. The amount mentioned was more than half of total cost of tuition. No clue if $ offered is for athletics only or if he was talking academics included. My son has a 3.9 GPA so grades are very good. Do I have my son reach out to Coach to clarify or do we sit tight for them to reach out to him. Never been through this before,so any advice would be appreciated.

Do you really think div. 1 coaches are out offering scholarships with one week until the college season starts?
Didn’t happen, it’s ok to believe that your kid is amazing and is getting everything offered to him but don’t think we have to as well liar.
