The Northeast NPL which is tied to the ECNL division of USCS has granted acceptance of SUSA into the Northeast NPL to fill the position vacated by Albertson due to their removal from the ECNL. This decision is effective for the 2018-2109 season.
SUSA will play in two NPL Leagues (Northeast NPL & NYCSL) creating an opportunity for SUSA to offer additional chances for qualified players, yet to be identified, to play NPL. SUSA will hold additional tryouts, and when they do, BOTN will publish the info.

Any idea of which league will get the B team and which gets the C team? Or will it be balanced teams?

I can't see SUSA being competitive with yet to be identified players for these teams.

There just aren't enough good kids to fill all these league spots. Too many leagues, too many clubs. Regardless, in a very crowded space, SUSA's upward trajectory continues. Congrats

You are correct, but I wrote that days ago knowing what I knew at that time and waiting for clearance to make this announcement public. I simply object to ranking of of teams and players from the same club in the same age group.

Why? Because I do. Am genuinely curious why you feel this way. The idea of ranking teams within a club is pretty common. Even the pro teams have their 1st team, 2nd team, etc. I can maybe understand not liking this idea at the youth level, but at the same time I feel like that is along the lines of participation trophies, and that ranking the teams within a club seems like a good idea if the club is committed to actually moving kids up/down between teams based on merit (and not politics).

OK, I'll rank your child's team. Ready? They are the G team in your club and your kid plays bench unless the team is up 6 goals which it never is...
Now tell me, whomever you are, did you like my ranking post?
THESE ARE CHILDREN. I dont see where ranking them publicly makes them any better or makes them feel good.

Why? Because I do. I agree 100%. Just because a girl is in a supposed better league, it doesn't mean she is better. My daughter has played in both leagues, and I can say that is not the case.

THESE ARE CHILDREN. I dont see where ranking them publicly makes them any better or makes them feel good. ? I wasn’t interested in you ranking them. I was asking about a club ranking it’s own teams within a particular age group. Do you also object to HS programs distinguishing Varsity vs JV? The idea of a club identifying one team as stronger than the other does not seem like such a crime to me. If my kid is on the second team but wants to be on the first team, I would hope she works hard and earns a promotion. Same as if she was on the JV team and wanted to make the Varsity team. Why is that so terrible?

ARe you serious? SUSA has multiple teams in each age group. if you are not on the ECNL you are on the B,C or D team. FACT! Nothing wrong with that but it's a fact. Minor leagues vs Major bottom line

Or is joining the ne npl replacing their EDP team. If so which is stronger competition EDP or the ne. Npl SUSA is in so many leagues

The one thing that does happen is that the ECNL girls think they are better, which if you know girls, can cause animosity within the club. Only so many girls can be on the 1st team.

Remember all the ecnl kids are headed for greatness. At 11 they are guaranteed full rides and then on to the woman’ National Team. I’ve been here before. Those daranged parents are in for a rude awakening.
