Red Bulls' Tyler Adams & Tim Parker Get US MNT Callup

New York Red Bulls Homegrown midfielder Tyler Adams and defender Tim Parker have been named to the United States Men's National Team camp roster for two upcoming international friendlies, U.S. Soccer announced today.

Adams and Parker, while not teammates at the time, were both most recently with the USMNT during 2018 January camp and the international friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The U.S. Men's National Team is set to play two matches, one on June 2 against Ireland at Aviva Stadium in Dublin and the other against France at Groupama Stadium in Lyon on June 9. Both matches are set to kick at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN and UniMas.

Adams, 19, continues to rise for club and country as he earns his fourth call up since last November. The Wappingers Falls, New York, native has started and played 90 minutes in his previous three call ups. Adams most recently helped the USMNT to a 1-0 win over Paraguay on March 28, earning the penalty that Bobby Wood converted for the game-winner. He earned his first cap on November 14 against Portugal.

Parker has also earned his fourth call to the senior team. The Hicksville, New York, native aims for his first senior cap after joining the United States for this year's January camp. Parker earned his first call up in January of 2016, and was also named to camp ahead of a friendly against New Zealand in October 2016.

Parker, 25, has been an instrumental part of the Red Bulls back line since he arrived via trade with Vancouver. He has anchored New York's defense to the fourth-best goals-against average in MLS at 1.09 and has helped post five clean sheets across all competitions.

Adams and Parker will both depart for the national team camp today, May 29, and return after the match against France on June 9. Both players will miss league road matches against New England (June 2) and Columbus (June 9) and New York's U.S. Open Cup match against NYCFC (June 6) at Red Bull Arena.
