So happy for Ron, Sue, Moussa, the Staff and all of the players who live on eastern Long Island. What a great opportunity.
This is a club that truly gives it their best effort to create a great environment for the kids. There college placement without ECNL status was terrific I can’t imagine where they can go from here. Well deserved Susa!!!

How does this work with their current NPL affiliation? Is it one or the other or can the Club participate in both?

Many of their teams also play EDP. Are you allowed to play in both ECNL and EDP (like you can with NPL)?

The club can, but a team would not. ECNL plays 2 games per weekend for most of the season..

Thank you - does a club have to send a team to participate in ECNL at all age groups, like they currently do in NPL (and Metro)

Yes, there are 6 ECNL teams for U13-U18, one per birth year. ECNL clubs also field a second team in Northeast Girls NPL. There is also pre-ECNL for U12 in the Northeast (also managed through Northeast Girls NPL).

I could not agree more. For years players from Suffolk have traveled to Nassau to play in the ECNL for
Albertson or East Meadow. Having an ECNL team at Susa will allow players from Suffolk to play closer to
their homes.

Question is, will the Suffolk County players who are currently playing ECNL in Nassau leave for Susa?
