The NY Club Soccer League is pleased to announce the introduction of a new development platform for U7 & U8 players across Long Island.
Over the past few months, the NYCSL taken the initiative and has held numerous meetings and conferences with many members of within our league. We are pleased to announce that starting this Fall, the league will offer the following structure to all incoming 2011 & 2012 players. Please note that this will be the ONLY offering for these age groups!
In order to comply with US Soccer Player Development Initiatives, the new platform will follow a 4v4 format and combine games and festivals to provide young players with the perfect introduction to travel soccer.
A club based model allows participating clubs to provide their players with a fun filled game day environment with the efficiency and convenience that club based play provides.
Dedicated Nassau and Suffolk divisions will ensure limited travel, with local clubs and academies grouped together, providing an ideal experience for all.
