New York will look to extend its winning streak in SCCL play to four matches and its unbeaten streak to five on Wednesday. During that stretch, the Red Bulls combined to outscore CD Olimpia and Club Tijuana, 8-2, with two clean sheets, one of which came on the road against Tijuana.

Through the first two rounds, Bradley Wright-Phillips has placed himself among the best in both goals and assists. Wright-Phillips is tied for the lead in both goals (3) and assists (3). Since 2008, no MLS player has won the Golden Boot in this tournament. Along with BWP, Luis Robles sits tied for second with Toronto's Alex Bono for the most clean sheets in the tournament with two.

Despite opening up the season with their first eight games in a span of 38 days, New York has been able to give a wide-range of players time on the field and a good majority have contributed. The Red Bulls have used 22 different players and eight different Starting XIs to begin the season 5-2-1 across all competitions. There have been 12 different goal scorers to account for New York's 18 goals in 2018. Bradley Wright-Phillips leads the squad with six goals, while Carlos Rivas is second with two and 10 other players tied with one. The Red Bulls have also totaled 21 assists in 2018. Of the 21 assists, 13 different players have recorded at least one. Wright-Phillips also leads the squad in assists with four, while four players are tied with two and eight players are even at one.

New York returns home to host Chivas Guadalajarra in leg two of the Concacaf Champions League Semifinals at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey on Tuesday, April 10. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET with coverage on Univision Deportes, and Red Bulls Radio in English on TuneIn.
