World Cup To Use Video Replay

Technology is catching up with soccer and the World Cup. But, is it a good idea? Will it work?

No football is supposed to be spontaneous, it's going to end up like American football lol which takes 3 hours to play 60 minutes. Leave football alone.

So is it also "spontaneous" when a player feigns a serious injury and lays there for 5 minutes, steps off the pitch and comes back on running like his hair is on fire? Or maybe it's just a way to rest up and waste time?

Please tell us how that break in the rhythm of the beautiful game is OK but doing a video review in order to avoid a game changing mistake is bad?
It's about getting it right and while it may take more time as the officials adjust to these protocols and procedures the result will be correcting a potential error that can change the outcome of the game. Getting it right because referees are human and technology can help is what it's all about. Isn't that what's important?

It's a slippery slope just saying, before you know it there will be TV timeouts. While American football is not a bad idea,( although they should have come up with a name more suited to the game) it has been ruined by stoppages, its unwatchable especially at the stadium.

Where is Warner Wolf when we need him? How about Andres Cantor and Warner Wolf in the booth broadcasting from Russia?
