Not sure what odds I'd give Hope Solo to win, but it certainly would be interesting to have her as the next US Soccer president, especially after she was removed from the national team.
Ordinarily I'd say she has no chance, but there are so many candidates who can split the vote that maybe she will win. Isn't that what Trump pulled off with so many Republicans running in the various primaries?
She may be lacking in business qualifications but she certainly understands the game and the ways to achieve success and the process of how the system works from the youth side up to the Olympic and World Cup.
And, after all, you can be financially successful in business and yet be a moron and run the country, right? So being succesful in business may not be an important criteria.
Now, one question for Solo and some of the other candidates. Being President of U.S. Soccer is a non-paying job, so I'm not sure how some of them would be able to make ends meet.
