Lighter rosters? When parents of the elite SUSA teams get wind that Hurricane Dan is coming, they will be lining up at KK.

KK has the NPL status (for his teams) and it's more than a thousand $ less than SUSA. Why on earth would they follow Dan? To pay more money? To play in a lower division? The last thing SUSA needs is more teams.

This is a dumb move on SUSA's part. They are a high volume club and Dan has a proven track record to drive them away.

SUSA's Carlton Avenue Town of Islip project has hit a big snag and has been put on hold. Because of the slowdown it may not even happen. If you do not believe it, take the time to go to the Town of Islip and review the folder yourself.

Kurt is a great trainer, but Dan handled the registrations, field rentals, scheduling, coach coverage, etc.

KK is going to be a crapshow in the fall as someone else has to step in and try handling that.

Hold up the mastic comment is wrong both comments it was a mastic and sachem combo with other players. And hilarious enough Dan told kids one team if u want to stay with him and he the next season had them play region 1 under sachem with some more sachem boys who didn't play at kk. He screwed up that relationship and then played region 1 out of mastic little light on the situation he made money had them play a crazy amount of tournaments ah again to make money. Those players got him the success to make a name for himself yes they were at kk already but he didn't coach first kk team so basically he was handed a team by Kurt that already had solid
players and more flocked. Speaks and treats boys like crap bottom line he has no personality. Hopefully the parents of 02s don't jump ship before hearing Kurtz plans. He wa under the gun for cheating at u10 cup and I think his deal with Susa has to do with how many teams he can bring with him will be tiny fish in a large fish tank

Dan's day to day over the past year has been reduced to about 55% of the of KK business and even less on the Atletico side stop pretending about things you don't know anything about. Unfortunately the only people that will be hurt by this will anyone who follows Dan over to Susa. There will be really positive things happing in the very near future at Atletico and it's to bad Dan knows he will only be hurting the players.. Good luck Dan defending what you did after everything and the truth comes out.

Current susa owners Moussa and Bouba were at kk and they left. Marvin the gk trainer was at kk and he left. Raul was at kk and he left. Carlos and Sean were at kk and they left. These guys have only good things to say about dan. So why did they leave. Maybe kurt is not the best guy to work for.

FYI - you must know nothing about scholarships . D1, D2 = athletic scholarships + academic scholarships . D3= no athletic scholarship - only academic scholarships that the coaches will get you . Stop listening to all the morons that never received a scholarship in their lives !!!

Seriously! A fully funded D-1 program is limited to 9.9 full scholarships; 9.0 for D-2. That's if they are fully funded, which the narrow majority are not (they are merely D-1 for the basketball and/or football TV money). So, with such limited scholarship resources, do you really think college coaches are looking for overly entitled and high-maintenance Long Island kids? Hilarious! Take a look at the rosters of a few of your favorite Division I teams and count the Long Island kids; hell, count the New York kids. Then count the international kids. Get it? Your kid is playing soccer for the love of the game, the character building, the personal and emotional fitness it brings . . . not the scholarship.
