I live in Western Nassau County border, which club is better, when you take training, price, talent and level of interest? Elmont, New Hyde Park, Franklin Square or Mineola ?

Kozy. LOL. How many chances is that guy going to get? This may be his last one - several of his U9 players have been taking trainings with another club.

Unfortunately he is extremely immature. Doesn’t know how to treat kids and be a role model. Hopefully he will mature sooner rather than later for his sake. Dix Hills is talented but like his teams before, they won’t stay together with him as parents will not tolerate his behavior for very long. 8 year old children should not be subjected to such behavior and the parents are smart enough to know it.

One of the mother's is the ring leader - she's burned bridges at 3 or 4 different clubs, including the HBC team she blew up last year because Kozy promised her that her kid would play in the middle of the field and take all of the kicks....he's the kind of kid that looks over at mom 100 times during the game when things don't go his way. The irony is that her kid is the weak link on the field for them - we've played them a couple of times in the last couple of months.

One of my kids was on a similar team a few years ago - between the ages of 8 and 9 they won everything in top NYCSL divisions, platinum level tournaments in Hershey, Cape Cod etc. By U11 they went 0-8, scored 6 goals and everyone went separate ways. LOL.

Haha. My son is actually on this team. You nailed it. Our son likes the trainer - but the mom you mentioned and a couple of sets of parents she brought along with her are lunatics.

My youngest daughter plays in the Global Sports Center league Saturday's. The level of talent I see are extreme, either really good or really bad. This goes for the boys teams as well, as they play simultaneously. There is some stand out talent out there, especially U9/U10, great field awareness, ability to play without the ball and "not just kick the ball anywhere". I know its only indoor soccer but if a player has these attributes at such an early age, with proper guidance, they should develop into something special.

I would be interest in hearing people's opinion on this as well. Any good clubs in the Bayside and/or NW Nassau area that aren't massive but have committed families and coaches?

Auburndale - pretty good talent wise as they are able to pull in from nearby latin community. Elmont-some very good players but play dirtier than most teams, especially when teams are losing. NHP- great atmosphere but not very athletic as demographics push 24/7 academics over well rounded individuals. Mineola-solid players all around, on the expensive side.

Hilarious commentary. Par for the course.

Based on numbers, the team should have moved up. Karma perhaps was the reason.

Shoutout to East Meadow for awarding MVP to their own kid over the weekend even though they lost the U9 tournament. Nonsense.

Who do you remove from D-1? Looks like D-1 was consolidated from 2 divisions in the fall to 1 in the spring.
